I thinking of getting the deltas for my build.  How are you going to control them or are you going to just plug them to the power supply?

I can't find a fan controller that can at least control two or three one channel.

trying to make one to control all of them at one. failed on my first try.

Very nice setup Juan. How much did all of that cost you (minus the case)?

Wouldn't it be better to get 4x 480 instead of those 5970's? Looking good so far.

depends what you want to do with 4 X 480. for me one 5970 is good enough.

i could use some 6 core chips if i could, but 5620's is all i can have right now price wise.

Use the pwm delta, a pwm splitter, and a pwm controller or your mobos cpu header. a splittersuch as this:
http://www.frozencpu.com/products/10350/cab-183/Akasa_PWM_Splitter_-_Smart_Fan_Cable_AK-CB002.html
As it draws power directly fom your psu, and only the pwn signal from your controller or mobo.

i made a custom PWM controller to control these fans speed. the after market ones will burn easily for these fans.

Make sure if you want to use the pwm controller idea that you get pwm compatible fans, models such as the ones found here:  http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007998%20600035590%20600035655&IsNodeId=1&bop=And&ShowDeactivatedMark=False&SrchInDesc=pwm&Page=1&PageSize=20

I get a 5.9 rating on my WD VelociRaptor drive, so I think as so often is said you can't really place much emphasis on the Win7 performance algorithms as performance indicators (whatever they are).
