Ponies and bronies hate furries? WTH? I fail to see the logic behind the hatred between the two. On the other hand, the furry is greater than the pony in the "cartoon-hawt-ness" department. No?
They more or less dislike being associated with each other because each side considers the other one to be immature. They both also like to push their ideals onto each other.
Like a furry hates people thinking they automatically watch my little pony because its talking animals, and bronies hate people thinking that since they like talking horses they must also be furries.
And some parts of the brony department can be just as bad as the furry stereotype of "Cartoon-hawt-ness" What that comes down to is human nature to pervert things. But thats a talk for somewhere else.
If anything i consider myself 85% furry and 15% brony, I also still get into small arguments with my brony friends over things like "anthro animals are furry and since ponies talk and have a lot of human attributes they are also anthro and there for furry." The main argument is always if ponies are counted as furry or not.
Think of it as Soccer VS football. They are both sports right? but both sides also fight among each other.
