Hey folks.

My new Nvidia EVGA GTX970 SSC has arrived, I installed it and the system has recognized it. But I have some doubt about my MOBO.

It is now hanging a lot of time in the MOBO screen, since I put the new VGA in. My mobo is a Gigabyte GA-b75m-d3h.
It has like the first BIOS ever, F4 I think, and the website already has BIOS f-15.

You guys think I should update it? Could it maybe suit better my most modern hardware?

I mean, could it bring some improvement in the matter? Or, being that it already recognized my VGA, I shouldn't do anything else?

You should keep your MoBo BIOS up to date regardless of what you're doing.  They put out the updates to help fix issues and help performance/reliability.  So yes, it would be nice if you wanted to update your BIOS if there is an update you can make regardless of it's going to help you or not.
