Actually. I think this is a good idea. Im doing a multi monitor setup but only have room for 2 monitors. If I post in the other group, I won't "qualify" because you need 3 for nvidia surround

Multi-Display is more than just triple-head users. There are all types. My most recent 180 degree projection setups are dual-projector.

    Your point? That's Surround/EyeFinity.

This is multi-monitor. Could be two, etc. A whole different thing.

I need to get a stand for the two monitors I currently use. They are of differing sizes (though kind of close). I'll have to take a picture one of these days to update this thread.

3 for gaming, 3 for crunching/etc right now.  I am going to order 3 after a bit and try to run 6 from the 7970's for the heck of it:

Thanks brother!  You can see, I had to reinforce the bottom of the desk.  It's quite sturdy, but all that pressure in one spot scares the heck outta me.  Thanks to the guys here on the forum, I only paid like 120 bucks for that stand shipped!  No joke.  Just need an extra 600 bucks or so to get my last 3 monitors.  Maybe this summer:)

Nice setup! Do the monitors bother you not being angled in much at all? I really want a stand(I'm looking at the 3x version of yours, inexpensive!) but I like mine angled in.

    Thank you.
I went from having a 3 monitor stand that had the ends angled in like a cockpit to this.  I really expected this item to have them MORE angled than this, but it was only 120 bucks, so...

At first, I won't lie...it did.  Now a bit less, but I am looking at the WSGF Stand that holds 1 over 3.  That one you have more play with.  This one isn't bad, but playing an MMO, you need to see the sides of the outside screens and it's hard to do with them at this angle.

I have a harbor freight tubing roller. Wonder if I couldn't just roll a deeper curve on the mounting? I've not looked at the design very closely of hte stand yet though.

Wow would that be neat:)  Here is a diagram drawing of the item.  It looks like a 13.7 degree angle from flat.  It needs to be more like 17.7, I would expect...just a guess:
