I had it added to cart and by the time I got to the credit card part it was removed from my cart. I would keep checking the 2080 Ti page. It wasn't pre-order it was add to cart.

Mine was an eVGA preorder. Got here the 21st.... then I had to wait for the block. I’m in the same tear down situation as you Johnny..... as my CPU is on the same loop and I need a 9900k.

If I do tear down and install just one tonight or in the morning, I can test to see what framerates are with one 2080Ti vs two 1080's at 7680x1440p which should be interesting.

Darn you and your peer pressure, I'll work on it in the morning;) I'll take pics also as I disassemble and put the block on in case it might help others. I'm eager to see how well it pushes my surround setup. I honestly don't think this card has the power to sustain that resolution with decent frames but we will see.

Did Micro Center have a limit on how many you could purchase or did you get lucky and get the last one they had?
Here's what happened this morning:
I checked on Microcenter's website around 7:30am. They had 5 Zotac AMP! 2080Ti's available for reservation for pickup at 10am with limit one per household. I reserved one. Then a few minutes later, they had 5 EVGA XC Ultra Ti up for reservation with limit one per household. I reserved one as well. I got to the store around 9:50am and a few people were standing outside. We were all escorted in and asked if we had reserved or not and then we checked out from there. I released the Zotac card and will wait on another XC Ultra to come up since I don't want two different cards and would much prefer the EVGA item.
A salesperson there told me they were expecting another shipment quite soon.
Edit: By the time I left, all cards were spoken for/purchased.

I'm talking about an actual Nvidia FE card. I think they sent all the cards they had to reviewers. WalMart doesn't even show a RTX 2080 Ti for sale. Micro Center shows the RTX 2080 Ti, but not in stock.

Yup, have it here. I'll take a look again. Well, it seems a tad bit lighter but nothing huge (imho) I just checked the EK website for instructions and it appears they've boosted the price for these blocks significantly. They're $170 + $195 now, wow.

I also don’t like the rgb wire. Why didn’t they tuck that into the block instead of lazily looping it from one light to the other. You don’t see that on any pics. Grrr.

When I spoke with EK before I purchased, the guy on Facebook told me that the backplate that came with the cards(stock if you will) would NOT fit the block...
