I found a way to reuse keys without any mods/exploits/hacks, it only requires making a backup of a file you already have. All you have to do is: 1. activate the key in game, 2. exit out of game, 3. make a backup of profile.bin from your save directory, 4. enter back into game, 5. use the key to get your weapons, 6. exit out of game, 7. put the backup profile.bin back in the save directory replacing the one thier and repeat the process. Thier you go unlimited keys, so simple.

I found a way to reuse keys without any mods/exploits/hacks
All you have to do is activate the key in game, exit out of game, make a backup of profile.bin from your save directory, enter back into game, use the key to get your weapons, exit out of game, put the backup profile.bin back in the save directory and repeat the process.
Thier you go unlimited keys, so simple.
easier than that. right click the profile.bin, hit properties, select read only. then load up your game and use the key then save and quit to desktop. the loot saves to your game save file, and your keys are still there when you relaunch the game because it was not able to write to you profile.bin that you had used them since you set it to read only. it is a known issue that copying and pasting the profile.bin can cause it to not sync with your account when steam syncs your files after you exit the game. this was found out on release when it was said steam does not back up the profile.bin, just fyi so no one gets a corrupt file EDIT: make sure to uncheck read only after you are done opening the chest.

yep def a good idea to make a back up just in case, I edited my other post with why it can cause issues when copy and pasting the .bin file over and over unless it is a must for backup purpose. steam treats bl2 files differently for some reason

Well You sorta convinced me into it with all the talk of the orange weapons and golden keys you had  I maybe don't have any orange weapons yet but at least I have a bunch of Nice purple/pink level guns from the chest now.
