Microsoft Confirms PC Gaming Issues in Windows 11 24H2 Update

(excerpts)

Microsoft has confirmed a big issue affecting Windows 11 24H2, mainly impacting gamers who use the Auto HDR feature. The problem causes incorrect color display in games and, in some cases, leads to game crashes or unresponsiveness, as reported by Windows Latest.

Microsoft has acknowledged these issues and is actively working on a fix, which they plan to release in the near future. In the meantime, gamers and other users relying on Auto HDR are advised to either avoid updating to Windows 11 24H2 or disable the Auto HDR feature if they have already updated, as a temporary solution.

Is anyone still surprised that Microsoft is incapable of  updating their own software without causing more problems?

Bad engineering, bad testing, bad AI ..... BAD Management  .... the cause is all of the above IMO

But, but Windows 11 is better .... because we say so!
