They have support for a 2697 v3 listed for the this board. I just ordered a 2699. Will it work...... I don't know. 
 
What do you guys think? 

In my case
Intel 5960X @ 4.6
32GB Corsair VENGEANCE LED 3200Mhz
EVGA Micro2
EVGA FTW3 RTX 2080 Super Hydro Copper
EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2

    Very likely it'll work, but I've not tested it myself.

    I'm going to use it for dedicated streaming.  I found a post on here someone had it work so we shall see.
     
    I'll post if it works or not..... To be continued.

    Wondering why you're going with Haswell versus Broadwell-E.

    Well I got to work now I'm going to try to hack the BIOS so I can overclock it to 3.3 all cores.

    How's the BIOS mod going?


    I tried but had issues and then figured no need for it since I'm just going to use it for a streaming pc. I might try again and brick the motherboard... lol. I was able to overclock it a little with the BLCK at 105 but that's all your going to get.
