    I bought one of those. Just be aware the first time you use it it makes sounds like you are breaking the cpu but it is the tool "breaking" in

    You linked the der8auer delid die frame (which I also have and love) not the delid die mate x.

    just in case anyone is wondering, i use a direct die frame on my x299 dark and it is compatible, no problems there!

    Delid-Die-Mate 2 = Compatible with all Intel Ivy Bridge, Haswell, Devil's Canyon, Broadwell, Skylake and Kaby Lake Socket 115x (so no "-E" versions) Desktop Processors
    Delid-Die-Mate X = Compatible with all Intel Skylake-X and Kaby Lake-X processors using socket 2066

    I personally de-lid my 7820X with the rock-it cool de-lid tool for 2066 processors (rockit 99). Worked really well, but the "re-lid" portion of it is a bit... flexible. That would be my only complaint. It was a little cheaper and it was able to be shipped to me quicker. This would really be the only reason I chose this over the der8auer tool.
