Hm.. doesen't seem right. Just for comparison, this is how it looks like from my side. GpuGrid, BOINC 7.2.33. I've got 3 WU's at the time, all act alike. GPU Power bounces from 49-80%. Can a WU get stuck?

Is your CPU usage set at 100% and Core usage to 100% I know if I set my CPU usage to less than 100% my wattage bounces between 300 and 600 Watts on one PSU and 400 and 135 Watts on my UPS units. This is on my 3 GTX 690's running only GPUGRID. My EVGA Precision X looks like Orange_1050 But I keep my cards at Stock. You can also look at your card with NVZ located "C:\Program Files\EVGA\EVGA OC Scanner X\nvz.exe" if you want to run it on its on. I cannot show or use EVGA Precision X on my GTX 690 Rig due to using the intergraded video card on the Motherboard. Where do you look to see "showing 39% usage" the GPU %? Found it.

Most of my GPUgrid runs averaged between 85-90% GPU utilization.

Huh.... I have the CPU set at 80% on three different CPU PrimeGrid projects... Even at that setting I am seeing 95-100% CPU usage when surfing... And Orange... I see your system showing 49% usage... very similar to me... And nope... Keeps reporting completed tasks... Thanks for the assit though! Man this is wierd...

Afterburner, what your looking at is not how much your GPU is working. If I understand it correctly the power percentage is actually how much power your card is drawing from your PSU. To find how much your GPU is actually working you need to hover your mouse pointer in the area with those graphs and double click. This will bring up a new window that has all kinds of information on it. My GPU usage is the fifth one down in that list. UPDATE: After my last post I got to playing around with it some. I found that you can actually change the graphs around to show what you want on the main screen. Just open up the options screen by clicking on the little configuration button on the left. Then go to the Monitoring tab. Half way down that page will be a list of graphs. Just click on the graph you want and drag it up to the top of the list and then un click. Presto you have just moved that graph to the top of the list and it will be shown by default on your monitoring window. Now click OK to save that setting and it should show up like you set it the next time you open up the Precision window.

Do you have both amount of processors and CPU time settings to 100%. From what I am reading over on the GPU Grid forums that can make a difference on how much of your GPU the project will utilize and how fast it completes a task. Note: Since GPUGrid's process/thread priorities (viewable in Windows using Process Explorer) are higher than normal BOINC-CPU-project process/thread priorities... "freeing a CPU" is not necessary for GPUGrid to keep a GPU substantially busy. Sure, "freeing a CPU" will give you better GPUGrid performance, but if the GPUGrid task doesn't fully utilize the full core (non-Kepler's, for instance), it would actually waste resources that could otherwise be used by CPU projects. Since I prefer to not waste any resources, I leave "% Processors" set to 100%. Also, the advice about setting "CPU Time" to 100% IS necessary when doing any GPU work in BOINC, so far as I know.
I have left all my projects on Boinc set to 100% and then let the application split it up from there. I have had no issues and can surf the web with no problems. When I want to play a game I do have to suspend all tasks. As it is now I have four POEM tasks running and a GPU Grid Long Run. The GPU Grid task is using 0.702 CPU's along with the GPU. UPDATE: I just had a GPU Grid task finish up and it was using 95% of my GPU. The new task started out at 70% and is slowing ramping up. I wonder if each task uses different amounts of the GPU and that amount changes in different places in in the task.

If I am only running GPUGRID I run 100% on Cores and 100% CPU and if running PRIMGRID and GPUGRID I run Cores at 90% and CPU at 100%.

NP folks... Had it at 100% for months with Prime... ran no problems. Went back to GPUGrid... Dropped to the 40-50% usage... Does not matter if 100% of cores or 80%... I am still at 100% CPU time...
