i cannot justify the price for that boxed look honestly...

while it may have plastic id still pick my Silverstone rv02 white ed because of the sole fact that it uses a truly well thought out design

and the fact lian li cases rarely seem to have much in the way of fans.....

only lian li id say have even some potential airflow is the pc-80

FYI;;;Not wanting to derail this thread but,,, does anyone know how to get a hold of Lian Li customer support? I've tried maybe I,m doing it wrong.I looked on the Eggs Contact Manufacturer page. When I,'m on Lian Li's site they always want some number in order to get a return correspondence. So I called the Egg's customer service and they were no help at all in this regard.
Service after the sale to me is a big thing. So if I don,t find out how to interact with Lian Li,,They will definitely be dropped off my short list for any future purchases.

Meh, imo, it looks too plain and not worth that obsurd price....Ill stick with my antec 1200...heavy as sin and i love it ;D, I dont know about you guys, but for lan parties i have no problems picking this thing up for awile...just dont be a weakling and weight shouldent be a factor...steel is stronger anyway!

Wow what a thread bump.  Might as well reply then.

Those cases use cheap SECC alloy steel which is not as strong as you'd think.  Anodized 7075 aluminum will be nearly as strong but much lighter, although I doubt any case uses this type of aluminum.

Lots of people prefer the clean, sophisticated look to gaudy over-the-top cases that tend to look ridiculous (NZXT Phantom popped into my mind).  I'm one of them.  No HAF, Raven, or any similar cases like that in my arsenal.  The Antec 1200 is too small for me, and has nothing going for it (the same applied to when it was first released).

The RV02 is great especially for cooling.  However a number of Lian-Li cases are designed with high airflow in mind.

- Several Lancool Dragon Lord cases
- Several Lancool First Knight cases
- PC-V2120 - three front intake fans plus a fourth blowing air right over the GPU
- PC-A77 and PC-A77F - pretty much the same as Antec cases out of the box minus the top fan
- PC-P80 and PC-P80N - ditto

Either way Lian-Li does include several front intake fans on most if not all of their full tower cases, unlike Corsair's ridiculous full tower cases.  This alone is fine for typical setups, and add a pair of 120mm fans to the back of the hard drive cage with zip ties (like my ATCS 840) and you've got a lot of air blowing toward your GPU.  This isn't the best airflow ever but it is still more than sufficient, generally speaking.  I'm sure triple/quad GPUs would like more.

Same! I could not be happier. It's the best case I've owned to date.
