So after joining this site i have been playing around with computers alot. this is my history with High end computers from the first to my most current.

Please feel free to put up yours. i would love to see them.

First system, Zalan nvidia fan, AMD 4600+ Asus M2N-SLI-Deluxe-570i XFX 7600GT in SLI BGF Ageia PhysX card, 2gb DDR2 800 XMS corsair, hitachi sata HDD + a butt load of cooling.

Next system came 3  years later
same system just added 6gbs of memory and a ASUS GTX260TOP

the last system lasted all of about 6 months.
next system was my most current set up
EVGA 3-way SLI, Evga GTX295 in quad SLI 6gb of DDR3 1600 OCZ memory a raptor drive from WD and two seagate drives + water cooling.
first time OCing using a i7 920 (4.2ghz-4.5ghz)

from there i added another radiator to the loop and removed the physx card.

also added another 6gb of ram putting the system at 12gb
i then made the jump over to a HAF case.
when i got the thing i couldnt stand the silver on the inside so i did my first ever paint job. came out nice.

after the haf case i made my own. i went with a plexiglass tech bench.
 (build log  http://forums.evga.com/tm.aspx?m=49191 )

from here i made some hardware updates. i updated from a i7 920 to a i7 975Ee and a 4way sli motherboard.

that set up lasted me all of about 4 days because my cats like to lay on it.
so i moved it back to the haf. its ok but when i have the money its going into a moutianmods case.
this system is waiting on new pumps. cpu will have its own loop and so will the motherboard the two pumps will sit side by side were the old pump is now.
here are the pumps im getting

so far this is what i have done with computer.
i have had windows xp-vista-w7
i do not have pictures of my old and first systems i modded. (first a dell with a voodooo&ati rage 128 pro then a compaq with a ti4800OC)
so im going to be poor for awhile so i used some scraps to finish my rig.

Sorry, I cannot show you my old rig, as it was parted out last year for prizes in the July 4th folding contest.. Current ones are in Mod rig and signature.

I do like the purple on your case though.  Contrasts nicely with the black.

Hehe...Bob.  It was MS's attempt to dumb down computing (even further).  Let's just say it was...umm...what's the term...?  Epic fail?

Do a google search on it.   It was, actually, quite funny way back when.

    Thank you!

I sold the first one to someone on this forum.

The second one is my current one.

The third one I gave to a friend.

Fought and fifth (same computer), I parted out and took the guts out to make the first one.

Sixth is my trusty laptop  -- it isn't as harmless as it looks even though it is old.

Seventh is a computer I built for a friend.

Eighth is the trusty Dimension 3000 which I sold on craigslist for $75.

I wish I had pictures of my first and second computers.  Oh well.  They were piles of junk, but still it would be cool for memory sake.
The second computer I owned has a AMD K6 II (that's how old it was), and I overclocked it to a whopping 450MHz.!

It's deceiving, but that computer is actually the most exotic.

It has a 9800GT video card in it with 128 stream processors instead of the standard 112 stream processors.  And the factory core clock is 725MHz with a 1750MHz shader clock.

I wish a bought a few of them when they were available so that I could kill the 9800GT highest Vantage scores.  760MHz core clock overclock was no problem at default voltage.  I wonder what the sucker could have done with some more voltage.

    Ah, it is so cute.

The best part about it is that it was sitting on top of an Antec case in the picture.
