Hello,

I prepare a bench session under liquid nitrogen with the program: 7980XE + X299 DARK + GTX 1080Ti K|NGP|N.
Currently, the 7980XE and the graphics card are already in the lab.
I prepare the CPU delid and a series of overclocking tests of the K|NGP|N.

The X299 DARK is not yet available in Europe.
I will keep you informed about the evolution of the tests and the first results ;)

I will make pre-test on an Asus X299 R6 APEX.

I'm so jelous on guys who now could buy i9-7980XE + EVGA X299 Dark + GTX1080Ti K|NGP|N Hydrocopper.
Because that's best combination after SR-2 Classified and Dual Xeons with 1366 LGA.

To be honest we should close book with Intel Bug. I only hope that Intel will pull patches.
None of people who visit forum here will not be vicitms of hackers that's for sure.
Situation is overblown because impact on Servers, Clouds. Intel would give us full refund, we are smaller part of their customers.
But they would need to refund and companies who payed 100.000 for Xeons example. And there is hundreds such companies, universities, schools, government institutions, etc.
2066 will not be hacked for sure and no need to install patches.

Definitely EVGA back at top in motherboard section.
EVGA X299 Dark is like back in time when motherboards look on something and coolers serve for cooling.
That was time of X58 and before but special X58. All of vendors, MSI, GIGABYTE, EVGA had amazing motherboards than.

I have also tested the APEX and the DARK is really effective also in overclocking. I really like the Eleet soft and tensions are well read.
Looking forward to going further in the days to come.

Increase mesh ratio.  Saw 4515 in Cinebench with same frequency and memory at 3466.  May need additional Vin, Vmesh, Vccio, and Vsa. https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2771596 #54

LN2 should go way beyond 4.5Ghz?

geninfo : it's just first test, no optimisation for the moment and yes, under LN2, I hope 5.5/5.6 GHz.
The first part of the 1080Ti test is online : http://www.overclex.net/articles/evga-gtx-1080ti-kngpn-partie-1/

The second part with the bios LN2 and overclocking is coming soon.
I will also post at the beginning of the week, the first part dedicated to the X299 DARK.

    Understood.
Abandoned Mesh Ratio 30->32 overclocking because of thermal and stability difficulties. https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2781462 #75
