Also what material were you thinking to use to seal the front radiator gap?

Thanks, this clears it up.
Has EVGA even shipped any Kinginpins yet?

Make sure your fans are blowing in the right directions you intend.

I have a strong black tape non-conductive. I'll block the gaps and the case have mesh in front, top and bottom of the case. I might remove the front so the hot hair can get out easier.

I bought also mesh for the small parts of the case where there are "gaps" and the rear fan. The less dust the better.

I attach pictures of both things I'll be using.

The problem with tape or other sealant is that the radiator is hot and eventually cause the glue or sealant soften and then fail or lose its stickiness.

Hi,
I would try to put fan shrouds in front of the fans on the kingpin to take some stress off the radiator hoses. Search on google Phobya Shroud Plexi (Acrylic) for 120mm Fan.
Good luck.

This time I'm lucky. The fans are in the outer side of the case so the tubes don't stretch. It will be sealed to the fans-sides.

Good idea as well. I just bought them so tubes will be less tense. They seem ok now but better be safe.

Thank you!

I know maybe negative pressure airflow it's not as good as positive.

But puting all the hot air out the case is not better? (Red mark)

Not if there isn't enough new air coming in to flow through the radiator.

Your front rad should be blowing into the case the back fan out. The top rad out. The bottom fans in. End of story.

I would also try top in, rear in, bottom in and Kingpin out. This allows heat from the video card to exit the case. Go on youtube and search "PC Airflow Test - Real Mainboards have fins".
Good Luck.

Thank you.

This is the one I'm using. Lots of heat from the 3090 so better going out. CPU air is cooler.

I wasn't able to find a 3090 Kingpin Hybrid manual via the EVGA site or elsewhere online. Does the radiator support a 6 fan push-pull configuration? I assumed most radiators could house fans on both sides but wanted to confirm.

Should, they have before.

Awesome, thanks for the heads up! I'm incorporating a lot of RGB in my next build and I initially looked at replacing the stock fans with ML120 RGBs but the CFM and static pressure are quite a bit less than non-RGB fans. I was hoping I could use the stock fans to push and use QL120s to pull (and add some "decoration") without impacting thermals.

Re: Kingpin 3090 radiator position. 2021/01/25 03:19:02 (permalink)
I'm back because I'm changing cpu and maybe fans orientation.

Right now I have as in take the 3x140mm CPU-top fans, 1x rear 140mm and 2x bottom 140mm.
As exhaust I have the 3x120mm from the gpu radiator.

I'm changing my CPU from a 8700k to a 10900k and 11900k in the future and these ones are toasty. I prefer not to put the hot cpu air from the radiator inside the case so I was thinking again to try the configuration I have in the picture.

This time I could use a higher-spin 3x140mm, 1x80mm and 1x120mm fans as intake to compensate the exhaust of the radiator fans.
The cpu and gpu radiator-fans won't be spinning at max normally so I think I can compensate 5 high-speed fans as intake? They will be more noisy but that's ok.
