My replacement arrived with a dented corner in the radiator and the display ports not useable. I can put a cable in unless I take it apart. This is going to have to go back.

I am sending this right back I don’t trust this card at all I can’t believe they would send something that is not properly refurbished and it’s not ok with the price tag on this card is a lot new that this would be the rma that I would get I would not deal Evga rma service again I paid a extra $50 to get fast shipping it some was not right and all I been doing it wasting time change cards

That's ridiculous. Completely unacceptable for a $2000 GPU to be replaced with something like that.

Got a picture of how you have it installed in your system? Trapped air can make a lot of noise in certain orientations.

Customer service makes sure you do this before even approving you for an RMA. My rad was at the top of the case its whole life, tilted system all over the place. Confirmed no air.

That's good. I had to ask, because i've seen many installed in sub optimal positions. 

I've had mine since they came out, still working strong. My rad is to the right of the card, with the tube going to bottom, but top of rad is higher than card. Took a little effort to get the bubbles out of the pump area and trapped in rad. Mines been on every day, I hardly turn it off and on. Maybe i'm just lucky, maybe its Jacobline.

I requested to get just a replacement aio or a new card let’s see what they say tomorrow.

I'd hate to have to send back an entire card because of a failing AIO. My card is running right as rain and no coil whine. If the AIO started to fail, I would prefer they send a replacement AIO and swap it myself.
 
 

same problem, pump noise is loud

I RMA'd my first KP due to damage to the radiator (posted here in the forums).  My replacement KP appeared to be a new one - it shipped on the same day as the queue was shipped cards and was in perfect condition.    The only problem is that the pump makes a lot of noise.  I was told to get the air bubbles out which didn't really help that much.  Given that people are still waiting for new ones, I'm just going to live with it for a little while.

Hey, can you guys measure the decibel level with your phone? Very interested on what is considered loud. My 3090 FE was coil whine/buzzing at about 60db which was nuts.

mine, not very loud though, but it's more of a rattle, not buzz. maybe you're thinking of coil whine.

Oh yeah that rhythmic rattle would drive me insane. Almost sounds like something is loose. Is this the noise everyone is complaining about and is it fixed in the RMA'ed units?

If it happens again to me I’m just going to remove the aio and wait for a waterblock while I use my ftw3 3080.

Maybe a poll is in order to see if the 1/3 figure is close. That would be too high of an RMA burden for any company.

I think for something that cost over 2k should have a better quality pump on it it just seems so cheap to me I was planning on getting the hydro coppers now they are saying that going to be just for the Hydro copper Kingpin and not selling separately

where did you read that? Jake tweeted yesterday that both the block alonj and the kingpin HC gpu will be available mid April.
