@dabadger:  Why do you think the G7 is so polarizing?  I have friends that own the smaller versions and love it too.  I also read a lot of negative reviews on it.  I'm an IPS person looking for another monitor and am tempted to give the G7 a shot.  I've had issues with uniformity issues with viewing angles on bigger VA screens in the past, so I'm hesitant.
 
Also, any issues with the KPE actually running games at high framerates on it?  I'm running an Asus PG279Q 27" 1440p and recently picked up a Dell Ultrasharp 32" 4k for video/picture/color accuracy related activities and could repurpose both if I replaced with something like what you have.  (BTW, the Dell is ridiculous, just 60hz so no gaming).  KPE would be in my primary gaming rig.

People either love the curve or they hate it, that is a big reason why the G7 is so polarizing.  The G9 is a different animal because using a display this big without a curve is... well, in gaming basically impossible, I suppose in business it'd be "normal" like 2 flat monitors side by side.
On a 27" monitor, a 1000R curve is steep and you have to sit a certain distance from it to get the overall intended "effect".
With the 49", that "viewing distance" isn't there so much.  You can sit further away, or closer, and it still "works" because of the 1000R curve being designed to "envelope your eye" so to speak.
 
Also, the high frame rate thing LUL I don't know what high frame rates are anymore at 5120 x 1440... just kidding.  In CS:GO I haven't had any issues, I did cap it at 240FPS in game to match the 240Hz I run while playing that though - lessens the unnecessary load on the card (cuz otherwise it gets 300-400FPS on a lot of maps still, even at this resolution). 
 
I think at regular 1440p the Kingpin will be an absolute beast.

JK, I also enjoyed the first two seasons of Mandalorian.  Baby Yoda (Grogu) FTW!
I'm also thinking of upgrading my MB and CPU. I have the ASUS Z390 Hero MB and 9700K CPU. Not sure yet if I want the upcoming intel or AMD (if I can get my hands on AMD)

It seems like the answer to that is going to be what you do besides gaming.  AMD, especially if you're going 5900x or 5950x, is going to be better in CPU intensive workloads, than the 11900K, overall.  But in games, it looks like the 11900K will win "Just barely" in a lot of titles... the big question will be, what is it's price, and how does it fair against the cheaper 5600x for people that are focused more on games & less on multi-core.
I think the 11700K will end up being the "real MVP" of Intel's lineup, kind of like the 10700K makes more sense cost wise etc.
 
We'll see though, I'm just hoping I can get ahold of a chip "anytime" in the near future after their release, cuz I'm locked in on the Intel side of things for this upgrade.
 
Sidenote: I ordered the EK loop kit last night before I went to sleep, here's hoping I don't regret it ^_^ lol

i paid extra money for second day air. It shipped Wednesday i should receive it today. Now its saying scheduled for Monday. ****ing bull**** i want $30 back

Because of this COVID situation, all carriers are swamp with delivery.  I ordered some fans from Performance PCS on Tuesday and it was only delivered today (Fedex International Priority).  The Fedex flight was delayed for 9 hrs or so.

Welcome to exactly why I kept telling people in the other notify thread paying for 2nd day instead of ground is a waste of money because it is NOT guaranteed due to COVID status of UPS's shipping stuff - just get Ground & wait unless you're on the other side of the country/area from where it's shipping, then definitely get the more expensive option because that means it has to fly instead of go "By ground" and it'll be less likely to get damaged in shipping.

Yeah, you should check your spam folder and if it's there, reply to that e-mail and they, EVGA CS, may help you out.  I have seen this a lot of times and the ones who had this happen to them twitted Jacob and he just said to reply to the e-mail.

Same here, ordered yesterday for overnight shipping for delivery today and UPS delayed till Monday (Louisville, KY Air delay). Nice waste of $40 for overnight upgrade

Dude, what is Amazon on lately?  The Corsair K100 arrived with no outer box & both seals on the keyboard box itself were broken.
 
Guess I gotta contact Amazon CS cuz that's ridiculous.  I've never had a product arrive that didn't have any seals intact with no outer box before O_o Except monitors and those still have seals on them.
 
Someone mentioned buying a K100 directly at the store, did yours come with the seals intact?

Sorry to hear that. I ordered mine from Best Buy in Canada. I had no issues with the packaging because it was curb side pickup.

It'll be obsolete in 4, but the warranty is valuable regardless, because eVGA usually will replace it with an equivalent tier-card from that generation, if the card is no longer made - and for the Kingpin, that means you should at least be getting a X080/X090 SKU card.  And I imagine the 3090 Kingpin won't be made after this year, let alone in 2025.
 
I am debating getting the 5 yr warranty myself - but with the fact that I upgrade every other year, I dunno... extended warranty doesn't transfer to the next owner so meh.

@DirkVD, just a FYI, EVGA.com typically does not ship outside of North America or ship to freight forwarders...so if you are trying to buy a card from them and get it to EU, you will likely need a North American payment option and a US-based friend to receive the shipment from EVGA and send it on to you.  I don't want to discourage you, but just want to make sure that you are aware of the issue and don't wait for something that will ultimately be frustrating.  Best of luck!

That doesn't sound good, that's too bad and of course gets even more complicated in RMA cases!
I discovered even more disadvantages, when importing to the EU, I also have to pay import costs and VAT, which costs me about € 450!
I would not be surprised that shipping and insurance also cost at least € 250, with a minimum of € 50 reward for the US friend, I would be saving less then € 125!
So I would be stupid to buy this great RTX 3090 hybrid Kingpin graphics card like this!
The Dutch web shop also has a German office and is mentioned in the "where to buy" list of online shops, on EVGA(dot)com !
