I am using the Cooler Master vertical gpu mount and Cable because it had the best looking build quality, the sliding mount is a little gimmicky but its solid and beefy enough.

I was thinking of buying the EK vertical mount that lifeisshort117 mention earlier in this thread.  It looks pretty sturdy:

If your referring to the supplied EK riser cable, than yes.  I'm lookin at the Linkup 4.0 riser cable, but do not know if it is compatible (screw hole size and location) and it's damn expensive.

FWIW I have the Linkup 4.0 riser cable on my 3090 and haven't had problems both in benchmarks, gaming and many hours of video rendering from Premier Pro.

I can't believe it. Almost half a year later, and you still can't buy a RTX 3090 at any online USA retailer, regardless of the brand or model (from a non-scalper that is). Crypto is on the rise too breaking new $ records, so it's only going to get worse before it gets better. MSRP just keeps increasing (especially generation over generation, don't get my started on that, such as when the top gaming GPU from Nvidia only used to cost $500, now we're almost at $2,000). Worst GPU launch in history, and I've been buying top Nvidia GPU's every generation for over 15 years. It already takes like a $1,500+ PC to match a $500 Xbox Series X or PS5 specs wise ($2,000+ to beat them), so this isn't helping the PC-gaming space, and could be one of the final nails in the coffin (honestly I hope it happens, Intel & Nvidia piss me off more and more every generation, they did it to themselves).
 
Still patiently waiting for my 3090 Kingpin....being stuck using 60hz on my 120hz HDMI 2.1 OLED TV as my PC monitor for over a year now...

That NZXT riser fire issue has made me weary.. still I went and checked em out. Pretty pricey.. both the bracket and the riser is nearing 200 bucks. Still would be pretty nice set up though... when you look at them there's like 30 of em on that page, which did you get?

It looks like it's not currently available. That a bummer.  I have actually tried a few of them and all worked.  I have a spare that worked was just a bit tight in my case, so if you can find one and the size is good, I think you're safe.

Did you get your first card from the queue system?  eVGA won't allow you to purchase a second one if so, just an FYI; others have tried this already that want to run SLi (for benchmarking mostly) and haven't been able to buy a second card from the site.

It's not big, but then again it's an unofficial queue. There are most likely a good amount of people in the queue that aren't listed.

Added you to the list.  You are currently #1 in the self-reported list.  However, please keep in mind, even though you may receive an invite to purchase email, if you previously purchased a 3090 KPE on this account, EVGA is unlikely to sell you a second card.  Their stated policy is "one unit per sku" from the queue.

Yes that would be nice if I can get my one before you get your second.

That means even in the U.S. it'll probably be what, $2500+?  That's insane for the tiny bit of extra headroom it has.
 
The card is over-engineered even moreso than the Kingpin is, according to Buildzoid's PCB analysis.  The HOF is "superior" but how much that superiority actually matters is mostly up for debate, it's way past the point of diminishing returns, that's for sure.
That said, if I were doing a white themed build, I'd be on that crapoli like white on rice. lol  The silly crown thing not withstanding, that LCD is pretty neat.  I wonder how much that adds to the cost of the card... if I had to guess it's at least $50-$100 just to put that on it & plug it in to what it needs to be  plugged in to.
