Re: EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 K|NGP|N - Unofficial Auto-Notify Confirmation List 2021/02/22 14:03:44 (permalink)
So just some observations with the data newet has been kind enough to keep track of since I'm getting desperate to see when I'll get my card (currently #50)

Not doing any complex algorisms/formulas or anything:

-Drops generally fall on Wednesdays or Thursdays
-Stragglers are available on Fridays and Mondays for people who don't buy

-There's been 4 drops since the initial 12/16 run*
Week of 16 Dec: 65 cards (Big)
Week of 13 Jan: 8 cards (Small) - 4 weeks later
Week of 23 Jan: 63 cards (Big) - 1 week later
Week of 10 Feb: 34 cards (Medium) - 3 weeks later
*note: card #'s that we at least know of on this tracking sheet. # of people in the que and # of cards released is probably 50~100% higher as stated multiple times in this thread

-There's a 2-3 week average wait between each drop (low 1 week, high 4 weeks)
-Average drop size is 42.5 cards (low 8, high 65)
-The last drop was on the week of Feb 10, so the next will most likely be this week (Feb 24), or the next week of Mar 3rd
-There's been 170 cards offered since the initial 12/16 drop (68 days ago), this averages to 2.5 cards/day or 17.5 cards/week
-The # of cards being released overtime is trending downwards (which isn't good)

For me personally, this means I won't get a card this week or next week unless it's a big 60+ card drop again. So I'm most likely looking at mid to late march for my KPE.

Look at it in the bright side, we all now know relatively our actual position so that when a drop comes, we are not wondering why there’s a small drop but there’s actually a much higher drop.

Hi you can remove me from the list, i got something else thanks

I can cross you out of the self-reported list, but to officially cancel your registration, you need to go to
https://www.evga.com/community/myNotifies.asp and click on the button next to your registration timestamp.  Please do that as it will allow somebody below you on the queue to get their card one or more days faster.  Thanks!

Hi the ftw3 ultra got lost in the snow storm last week so they refunded me so i guess i'm back in line, happy i did't remove it yet.

Good to see the data consolidated on drops. Hoping that the Chinese new year celebration doesn't impact the drop sizes (or frequency) too much. I know it's been mentioned that they may be using ocean freight to ship cards to reduce overall cost and hopefully a boat went out just before the holiday break which could take as much as 15 days and put them on track for late this week or middle of next week... if we don't see anything then we're likely on a 2 week delay.

Dont quote me on this but if im not mistaken evga said they would be honoring pre-trarif prices to those who signed up pre-tarif, although i might be totally mistaken on that, either way evga has always been great to me and honestly if not for them i wouldnt even be getting an nvidia card right now at all so im just keeping my fingers crossed for the sooner the better! also amazon still sitting on "Not Yet Shipped" for my 5900x so i might as well wait patiently and see which one gets here first.

The original price is only good till that date in April they set.  After that regardless of when you signed up you will have to pay the current price unless they change their minds or the tariff issue is resolved which could result in lower prices.

Edit: he also posts updated of the same google doc in the same thread above in the morning and In the afternoon

ain't that the truth! Just got done watching whatever's been release for WandaVision, 7 episodes I think. Was pretty decent, hopefully it's not over yet. I read a thing that says Disney has big plans for MCU Television programming and how they're going to be vital to the way the MCU unfolds for Stage 4.

Basically pushing people to adopt Disney+ if they want to understand the MCU going forward. As long as it's quality, I don't mind because I find it enjoyable and if I can get smaller bite sized pieces dished out more frequently than a large meal every other year, I'm good with it.

Looks like decent drops today.  Not for this particular queue, but still, that's awesome.

So I'll just go back to discussing various shows.  I am not loving WandaVision.  I've only watched the first five, and I do enjoy spurts of it.  I think the weekly release worked well for the Mandalorian, but WV is just too.. seems to be something for those who love to spot easter eggs versus being wowed by the actual show.  The pacing is just off, and it's quite easy for me to forget to go back to it.  Maybe it'll end in amazing fashion, but D+ needs to rethink their weekly strategy, at least until they have a lot more shows running.

I can totally see where they've focused on those with a vested interest in the MCU. If you don't care for MCU def the show is gonna be very forgettable and possibly boring

Huge fan of the MCU.  My first comic as a wee lad was a Spiderman comic book at some campground.  Spectacular, maybe.  Then later on, New Warriors #1, the Punisher, X-Men and Wolverine, Avengers.  More Spiderman.  If I was buying a monthly comic book, and it was WandaVision, I'd stop buying it.  Because man those are expensive these days, 4 and 5 bucks an issue?  Ouch.  I mean, obviously some people like what's happening with WV, but not me so far.
