Just set up my 980 Ti SLI! Sort of worried about my sound card, any input?

I ran this configuration with a 670 FTW setup for a couple of years...but these cards seem a bit bulkier than those. 
 
I am sort of worried about my sound card melting from the heat off of the bottom card (and impeding airflow to the top card as well).
 
Does this look dangerous to anybody? I'd hate to give up my sound card, but obviously safety of my internals takes priority.

    It'll just make the card above it run a little warmer because it is sucking the heat off the top of the sound card and as you said more restricted airflow.
     
    I have one in between my cards also, it's perfectly fine.

    Throw a backplate on that sucker I think you've got a little bit of headroom? :D

    Toss something non-conductive between the bottom two to maintain separation.  Pencil erasers are really good for this purpose.
