The LEDs are obviously missing. The question is whether they are supposed to be missing. I would ask EVGA. https://www.evga.com/about/contactus/I don't think that they are supposed to be missing. Based on the shape of the solder on those pads, it looks like they were there when the whole board was soldered, but got knocked off later. If EVGA determines that you knocked them off while taking the card apart, they will probably determine that the video card's warranty is void.

Yes, i have the same gpu and revision and all mine have them.... there should be 4 sets like that, like your first two to the right in the original posts picture. If you just opened this gpu let evga know thats how you received it so its noted that it came like that from the factory so your warranty isnt voided.

Card should still work without them so the warranty issue is pretty insignificant.

Yes,it will work without them, but that is a physical altering of the pcb that will void your warranty. If he waits 3 years and something else crops up as a issue, he'll send it in and they will flag and return the card to him cause the pcb is altered. Thats why i told him to immediately tell them if he just opened it, or close to it, and caught it cause they will put a note in the account telling future techs to honor the warranty and that the op received it that way bnib, otherwise he'll lose it. He could rma it now if he wants to.

i see what appears to possibly be pry marks on the left corner of the board not saying he/you did it but doesnt look good.i would definitely contact them.
