that's pretty over the top Vlad! looks cool. you might be the only one who can use the handle properly to carry your whole computer around with.

Seems like the first batch won't last very long.. atleast mine also stopped working last month...
The one i got from rma seems alot better, better regulation of voltages alot more stable and doesn't whine like my old one did, so yeah i think evga did a great job in the latest revision of the NEX1500, good work!

Yeah I got one very early on, mine is dying right now the four titans I just bought are sitting there hungry for power, that's what I was wondering have they revised the unit because I love it! I couldn't go with any other psu.

Is there any way to control the fan speed? I thought I remember reading somewhere that the software could, but I cannot find it in Supernova. When I am running around 1500 watts with 4-Titans, the fan spools up and down really fast like revving an engine. Wouldn't be so bad if it was a slow ramp up and down, but it is much more noticeable with this quick revving. Especially when the fan sounds like a hovercraft above ~1500 RPM. EDIT: Found that you have to click over, and then down. Now, is there any way to create/change the fan profiles? It only lets me select 1 of the 3, and even on silent the fan is set to go up to like 58% at 1500 watts which is far too loud. 58% on this fan is right between a hair dryer and a leaf blower..

It's little tricky first choose fan speed option in one window, that little arrow next for fan speed, than you will see screen with time and line speed, next to that is vertical arrow, click two time on vertical arrow and you will see like this... You can turn and full fan speed, but I didn't try that. Explanation is on little paper you got with PSU and you need to change position of little switches on back side of PSU. You don't need that. That's 4000RPM I think. Your fan is loud on 1500RPM, I barely can notice difference when change on Performance, that's around 1500RPM. For me that is not loud.

What's up with the stock? I made and paid for one August 8th and it's still not available? Do they personally mine the precious metals for each one by hand. It'll be over 2 months that iv invested $550 in this and none in sight yet. Beginning to feel like by time I get one they will be discontinued. Not sure how to register it if one ever shows up for warranty.

If you ask how to register NEX1500, you can do that on EVGA site on Product Support > Product Registration. Waiting is something worse, I know that because I wait graphic card! I planed to play now with her but I still wait. Yesterday I send message to ask, for 3-4 days. That's worse when you depend of somebody. It's good thing because people bought me 100% and now I wait to came in Serbia and because I thought it's 120e more than other manufacturer but not, it's only about 50e more... Some GTX780 are over 700e in Serbia but you can see price 580e online. They keep wrong price to cheat people to call and ask. Only in country where mafia keep monopoly something like that is possible. But again and this is better than GTX780 DCII.

I know were to register the psu what I was saying sarcasticly was that iv paid $550 for a psu that hasn't or will not arrive in 2 months. By time it gets to me I'm not sure what to put as a date or if this back order would be eating into my 30 day warranty.

Once your order has shipped you should be provided with a invoice that reflects a order and ship date. If there is a delay in shipment go ahead and use the ship date. Just make sure to upload a copy of your invoice during the product registrations: www.evga.com/invoice.

so I recently installed this power supply and I have a HAF X case by Cooler Master. The CPU 1 wire reaches into the back of the case and then back thru again to connect to the board but the CPU 2 power wire doesn't reach. It has jumpers on it that keep it from reaching the second power port on my X79 Dark. When I checked for a wire online I found I can only buy a full set. Anyone know of somewhere I can get a single wire or something? Or maybe EVGA would hook a loyal customer up with a swap out CPU 1 wire in exchange for my useless CPU 2 wire? Much appreciated in advance if anyone can help.

Hello, Unfortunately we do not have individual cables sold separately and for only limited models. I suggest you look into an extension cable if you are comfortable use that. -Mike

Ok. I'll check it out. Thanks for the speedy reply. You guys are the best. Edit: Had a thought. If any other users are interested in splitting up a cable pack, let me know. The 1500 cable pack is $99.99 for all the wiring, I only need CPU 1. If we find a few guys all looking for different cables it could work out. I'm looking into extensions but they kind of crap up the look of all the wiring I got in already.
