July 23rd is availability date for 2080 Super. 2070/2060 Super available on July 9.

I imagine a little pressure from AMD's announcement that its new GPU at E3, was targeting the RTX 2060 and RTX 2070 had something to do with it.

Okay, nVidia. So you've finally made a card with specs (namely the 8GBs) acceptable to a 250$+ card but you're still off by about 100-150$. Not sure if this is accurate but from what I had read they are replacing the 2080 and 2070 with the Super versions and having them at the same price whereas the 2060 will stick around for $350 and the 2060 Super will be 400-450$. No, I'll continue holding out onto my 4GB 760GTX. $350 has always been the sweet spot that I would spend on my GPUs and get a good amount of time out of them. Just two generations back (Maxwell) the 'x80' tier card was $550, then $650 for the Ti. If they want to push higher end limits and charge almost double of that for that tier just five years later, okay, but that $300-350 range shouldn't suffer. The 2060 "Super" is what the 2060 should have been to begin with, which is a $350 card. Not sure what the chances are of there being a price drop or sale on them within the next year but if not I guess I'll be skipping yet another generation.

That's important information. If that so then I believe and RTX2080 Super and Hydro Copper waterblock for previous RTX2080 are compatible as well. Nice. Now I look on everything through waterblock compatibility. I can't wait to completely redesign my loop for DDR5 platform. These are parts.. Off course + graphic card block.

I didn't thought about that. You say NVIDIA used different version of same chip for their GeForce RTX Founders Edition then chips offered by ASUS, GIGABYTE, EVGA under Turbo and Super Clocked and similar models? Maybe.
