It they are artificially extending the "shortages," they have plenty of stock and get more regularly, but instead of providing it to those whom they have contracted with on an individual basis they instead sell it to partners in large quantities knowing that those quantities will be sold not to consumers/end users but instead to scalpers which further extends the wait. Further delays come as they also continue to take new orders from system building companies and place those ahead of those who have been waiting on their orders for months. System builders and sites which sell online are placed ahead of individuals who have been waiting on their orders for 8, soon to be 9, months.
If they actually cared about their end users and actual consumers this would not be the case.

The XC3 isn't guaranteed to come back guys and it more than likely won't. The XC3 is mostly sold through partners, MC, BB, Newegg, etc. The vast majority of the XC3 will be shipped to these companies.
Don't create expectations for an XC3, look at this history here. THe XC3 for any version of any card is hardly sold on the EVGA website. If you really want an XC3, you'll have better luck at the above stores I listed.
If that were really the case, then explain the auto-notify buttons being present for the XC3 versions of the 3080 and 3090.

Look at the XC3, it hasn't moved for a very long time, but between this time you see these cards being sold at MC, BB and Newegg often. So it's obvious that the partners get priority for who knows why, contractual agreements? But XC3s are still being sold, just not on EVGA website.
At that point, if we make the assumption that EVGA is just outright not attempting to restock certain products that they are selling on their own storefront, EVGA might as well change the product page to not imply its being sold through EVGA.
Yes, they definitely should. I think that's what they're doing with the 3080 Ti now, they're being very cautious. Keep in mind, this whole notify thing is very new to them. They probably have a lot of logistics and contracts they need to work out with their partners. It very well can be that BB, Newegg, MC, Central Computer and other stores EVGA supplies their card to has a different allocation and contract for the 3080 Ti. I imagine the XC3 will come back after they supply those stores I listed above with all the XC3s they promised. If they are struggling to keep that promise, then for certain we won't see the XC3 back on their store.

lol! Best Buy I tried every drop, Newegg Every Shuffle, Office Depot Both ( 3 ) Drops , Bhphoto , Adorama .. you name it .. All Failed .. EVGA has the best system in place .. especially if all places fail at least you have something guaranteed in time ..
