run CMD Promt... as Administrator
cd/ Enter
SetupChipset.exe - OVERALL
Enter

Not needed and I have Never done it that way and never will.
Just Right Click on SetupChipset.exe and Select Run as administrator

Hey MrB. I notice you keep updating this driver every new release, any reason why this is so important to update?
Heck, I think I have a couple systems with just the MS drivers and they seems to be working ok.

It is the Old School in me
I really not bother Posting until the X99 and working with AIDA64 Extreme updating them helped with updating AIDA64 Extreme with new I/O Address and Sensors used to read each Motherboard Chipset that I have from EVGA and after Each Update along with a Bios updates I send AIDA64 Extreme a Detailed Report and most of the time I get back an updated Beta Version of AIDA64 Extreme.
I do the same with all new Hardware like with the Z10 and even the X10 and Graphics Cards with Firmware updates and Bios Updates.
It took like 6 Beta Versions to get all the X99 Classified info for AIDA64 Extreme to read the EVGA MB info and I think it only tool 4 for the X299 Dark MB.
I guess in the end I like to keep the Back End as up to date as I can and even more so with the poor support given by Microsoft at the Hardware Level. It just might be the Server Admin in me keeping it right.
I know on my Servers I has corrected timing issues on one of my T-Servers and Dells Raid Cards.

Intel® Chipset Device Software Update Through Microsoft Windows* Update Overwrites Existing Device Drivers Causing Loss of Functionality Link
 
What's the primary issue?
Intel SMBus Controller device drivers are overwritten with Intel® Chipset Device Software when updated through Microsoft Windows* Update, causing a loss of functionality for affected Intel SMBus Controller devices.¹ This loss of functionality applies to Windows* 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows Server systems.
What are you seeing?
You may experience a loss of functionality for the listed Intel SMBus Controller devices.
The SMBus is used for system management communications. If the device driver for the Intel SMBus Controller is not correctly installed, the temperature reporting, as an example, for the processor, PCH, and memory modules may not function as expected.
Why are you seeing it?
The existing Intel SMBus Controller device drivers are overwritten with the Intel Chipset Device Software, which provides the operating system with information about the device/hardware. This information allows the operating system to display the correct product name for that piece of hardware in Device Manager. The Intel Chipset Device Software does not install device drivers for the Intel SMBus Controller, resulting in a loss of device functionality.
 
Other Chipset stuff
Chipset INF Utility  Version: 10.1.17 (Latest) Date: 8/24/2018 Link is not really the same as Chipset Drivers but close.
Download Server Chipset Driver from the Above Link goes to a really Old Version of the Chipset Software.
It is like we lost the Old None Server link for the Chipset Drivers and Software.
If you do download the Chipset INF Utility  Version: 10.1.17 (Latest) Date: 8/24/2018 after install the Thread Version or Server Version as post in the Frist Post you will see this Message Pop Up.

So I see no need to even see where they are at with the Chipset INF Utility Version and stayed with only the Intel® Server Chipset Driver for Windows* Version from Intel. It stays more current that is.

for the past few weeks ive been getting "Intel(R) Management Engine Interface driver has failed to perform handshake with the Firmware" errors, Is this the fix for it? I was just on the Intel's site and saw there was a Intel(R) Management Engine Critical Firmware Update

No, this over covers the Chipset.
you can update the Chipset Drivers and then reboot and follow this Post for the ME https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2898417
But before you do any of the above Update the Motherboard Bios to the Current once released for your Motherboard.
