I don't normally post mpc links or read mpc these days but, for this, the Intel Stick looks nice, and what info I've found so far. For $150 & Windows, seems great for the TV, or techs on the go...

Edit: now, who makes a decent BT keyboard/track pad?

I've had one for a few weeks now. They're only good for desktop work. It doesn't like 720p streaming video. Might be the wifi or might just be the processor, but 720p stutters. It'll run full 1080p desktop just fine though. I'm running the most current Windows 10 version on mine. This stick runs better with Win 10 than Win 8.1.

These have actually been out for 6 months now. They go by the brand names of Meegopad T01, Beelink P02, iView CyberPC, and a few others. You can get them in 1GB/16GB and 2GB/32GB variants. Do not get the 1GB/16GB variant as it's largely useless. I have a 2GB/32GB version and everything I install on it is on a 64GB micro SD. Not a good idea to put anything else on the 32GB system drive. It's just not much space there. I have Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office and Chrome browser installed on the SD card.

I just use a regular wireless USB2 keyboard/trackpad. The Logitech k830. Bluetooth peripherals are just needlessly expensive.

Considering it's a regular PC on a stick, It'll support anything USB2. Donno how you came about the arbitrary 1TB limit.

You have a TV anywhere with an HDMI port it'll turn into a full fledged PC if you plug it into it. This thing is super small. Ideal for those that travel.

Here is mine. It's smaller than a smartphone.

So can you plug this into a TV's USB Port and it will work?
With a Powered USB 2.0 Hub can you use a Mouse and KB?

I wonder if this would be the best thing to do for my parents for web and email use.
This is moving them off of Windows XP and not having to spend every ending hours retraining them how to use Window 8.x.
I do not even use Windows 8.x so I would have a hard time myself walking them through how to get to their email and so on. Is the Link above the same device? It is only $110.

I purchased the iView CyberPC on Newegg. It comes with a remote control USB keyboard good for use in a TV setting. For email and desktop use it'll do ok. Don't expect super multi-tasking or GPU intensive use though. It's a bit of a pain to get Windows 10 on it because you need a USB2 dvd drive. Then you need to manually find the driver installers for the wifi, bluetooth and Z3500-series SoC. It does run notably better on Win 10 than Win 8.1 though.

Lets Hope that Intel will have a Free upgrade Path to Windows 10 once it is released to RTM.
A simple Swap would really be Great.

I suggest also picking up a 64 or 128GB micro SD card for it to use as a data drive. I do not recommend installing anything on the 32GB system disk. Mine has Windows 10 installed and only around 10GB free on the system disk now.

Good Catch, will do. Do you think it supports SDXC like
    SanDisk Ultra 64GB micro SDXC UHS-I C10 memory card 30MB/S (SDSDQL-064G-G35)

This is what I think would be best if supported
SanDisk Ultra 64GB UHS-I/Class 10 Micro SDXC Memory Card Up to 48MB/s With Adapter- SDSDQUAN-064G-G4A [Newest Version]
    or
SanDisk Ultra 32GB UHS-I/Class 10 Micro SDHC Memory Card Up to 48MB/s With Adapter- SDSDQUAN-032G-G4A [Newest Version]

The Micro USB Hub I purchased. It plugs into that Micro USB port next to the micro SD card slot.

Not sure what UHS-1 is for micro SD. Here is the card I've been using. I had a spare Class-10 64GB card for my Canon DSLR.

I'm hoping the bios update addresses the ability to install 64-bit Windows. There was a bios bug in the current bios that only allows 32-bit even though the Z3735F is a 64-bit CPU.

BTW, I'm typing this message with mine. Decided to mess around with the stick for a bit today.

Mine has different method of getting into bios so I'm not 100% sure it's an exact clone of the intel stick. I'm not going to chance it as my stick is working great at the moment.

Odd, because I've use my 4TB WD Mybook on the one I have without issue.

What would you use this For and How?

You have a TV anywhere with an HDMI port it'll turn into a full fledged PC if you plug it into it. This thing is super small. Ideal for those that travel.

How is it powered? Do you have a link to the Manual or?

It's powered by a micro USB port. Typical USB power 5V 2.1A.

So can you plug this into a TV's USB Port and it will work?
With a Powered USB 2.0 Hub can you use a Mouse and KB?

No, you plug it into a TV's HDMI port, change the TV source to that HDMI input, and plug a micro USB into the side of this thing as a source of power.

    Bios Settings:
    Select Operating System > [Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 64-bit] or [Windows 8.1 32-bit]
The default value is set to the operating system that has been installed at the factory. No other operating systems are supported by the BIOS.
