In the image below you can see that the Mvme hard drive is touching the Gpu i wanted to ask will this cause any problems what so ever? So far there is no other place to put it and i think a Pcie extender will slow down the hard drive or would it ? This is the only thing holding me back from finishing my system and the cable management lol.

Motherboard is Msi x99a sli krait edition.

The extender won't hurt anything, but you are cutting off an ACX cooler fan, which is already going to get hot because it is the top card. I would suggest seeing gift your bottom gpu will go down one more slot, slots 1 and 4,and the hard drive sit just about gpu2, rather than so close to gpu 1.

EDIT: Just realized that isn't a 5 slot board... I would NOT want anything blocking the ACX fans on my card.. It is going to get really hot because of that.

Curious where your going to put the Intel card with that extender? Just one more pci slot down on the case? Seems to me this would create more air flow restrictions?

I have one of those drives in my system too. I don't have the issue you do, but they are kind of thin, so it shouldn't block the fans too much, some heat will come off that drive too.

Are you having temp issues with the top card since you installed it?
