sew282 On gtx 1080 i dont had cpu bottleneck on games. So what you say that on 1080 ti i will be have cpu bottleneck? I think my cpu is ok.
at 1080p and a gtx 1080 you are pretty close to being limited to your cpu. but if all you do is 1080p 60hz unless you are running SMAA or render scaling way up to 2k or 4k res. at 1080p there is no rhyme or reason to get a 1080ti for 60hz gaming at the res

Yes but if i use all ultra details + high MSAA in game plus all ultra like grass ( like GTA V ) then fps can be under 60 fps, like 35-40 fps ( on my gtx 1080 ). So sometimes its fine using that card on 1080p.

eh that may be one of the few.maxing out advance graphics, and grass really kills frame rates in gta v. so i guess you can go for the 1080ti if that is what you want to be able to run. If you like flying planes in gta i would not max out those advance graphic settings or at least turn down grass a bit as ultra grass is a monster. it would probably still cripple even a ti fully maxed. The new slogan will have to be "can it run GTA v maxed"

You may want to familiarize yourself with the definition of 'bottleneck' before you start calling people morons. Nobody is saying that the 6700K is a bad CPU. I have one myself, and am very happy with it. From a gaming performance perspective, in every situation, either the GPU or CPU acts as a bottleneck. Fact of life. At lower resolutions, like 1080P, there comes a point where adding more GPU horsepower results in diminishing returns in performance. This is what you'll see in some games with ANY CPU when running a 1080Ti. Does not mean you're getting poor performance by any means, just that the additional GPU power isn't increasing performance as much as you'd expect.

I know all too well how taxing GTA V can be (even at 1080P) in grassy areas. I have two Titan X (Maxwell) graphics cards in SLi, and the game still dips down to 30 fps in those areas. (And unlike what some people make it seem like, the frame-rates in those areas does not exactly go UP, if you use a 1440P/4K monitor instead of 1080P). With a GeForce GTX 1080ti you should see a boost of around 35% higher fps than your 1080, which means you should get around 40-45 fps in grassy areas in GTA V (instead of 30). So if you are trying to fix the minimum frame-rates of GTA V (in grassy areas), then a 1080P (144hz) monitor along with the GeForce 1080ti will be a good choice. Just make sure to get a monitor that has G-sync (nVidia) and not Free-sync (AMD).

again the 6700k will not bottle neck any games learn something thank you, done responding to people with very little knowledge esp to people who don't even own a ti yet and reading random benchmarks online,
