Hahaha thanks everyone. I understand that eyes alone do not confirm it. He is actually really good for six weeks almost seven. He whines when he wants to go out...hasnt had an accident yet.

All dogs have blue eyes when they are pups, cause the eyes are not fully developed for semi-color vision yet. They only see black and white and blobs and shadows. Ususally around 10 weeks or so they develop there real eye color and keep it. Huskys are crazy energy dogs....I coudnt own one myself cause I don't have kids to wear him out!! Train him NOW....all the time cause they are really clever...he will surprise you with his antics probably. Theyre known for opening doors, turning knobs, closets etc.... youll see!! lol I shouldn't be laughing actually cause a lot of them get sent to shelters cause of stuff like that. Don't be so hung up on pure breeding either. Pure breeding over generations is what introduces all the defects in the lines, so don't be so quick to shy away from a mutt. @doorules; I was lolling at your pict with the fence and snow....those two must laugh at you everytime they go out, like "this guy thinks we cant jump over this fence, snow or no snow?!?!?" lol  :P 

When my boxer was a puppy her eyes were definitely hazel just saying...

we are extremely happy. Besides the normal puppy crying, he is the best pup. Has only had one inside accident which wasn't his fault. I am pretty sure he is purebred but hey if not, he is ours and thats all that matters. We took him to pet extreme and everyone said what a beautiful husky without taking a real good look.

Remember you need to show him you are the head of the pack if he bites slap him, if he craps in the floor slap him... They are capable of being trained it seems these days people don't want to train... Training isn't pretty but it needs to know you are the alpha.

No you aren't screwed my family has been breeding dogs for 60 years and we NEVER get papers.  It is though best to make 100% sure he is pure bred...  Is it worth the price of a DNA test?  No not at all but if you really wanted to know that is an option...  People spend soooo much more on animals than there human family members it's absurd...

I trained my Lab without smacking her for any reason... i don't suggest you do it either. There are other ways. Not sayin it's overly wrong BFPRO, just sayin it's not needed. I have NEVER hit Hershey for anything. Simple raising of the voice was enough to scare her...silly dog.

I think it all depends on the breed of dog...  Now I will say that my grandfather actually trained a cat...  I don't like cats...  I love animals and would never hurt one for the purpose of hurting it nor would I want to hurt it just need it to know who the Alpha is...  Anyways I still love to go hunting and my Beagles do as well

Good man!! You don't ever have to hit a dog, and tbh its actually counter productive to any animal training. Now, smacking a spoiled brat human childs ass is a whole other story and I will advocate that all day long!! :) Most animals have a sense that they use more dominant to the others, and that's the one you have to work with. Dogs are either hearing or smell oriented, so using clickers, penny cans etc... and treats or either by themselves with a vocal correction works so well. Dogs are also the only animals that look into a humans face and actually take there cues from facial expressions, and that is a trait they received from domestication because wolves dont and wont do that. So during training your dog is cued into you more than you think. A great way to get your dog to train quickly and actually retain it is to touch there back by there rear legs with a no, or quiet, or whatever word you prefer. The more distinct the sound the better. They never ignore being touched...they will always turn there head and look and when they do you have there attention, then correct. Also giving the dog a name like that will help greatly too because they will pick up on the sound syllables in the word. Whatever you do, if the dog goes on the floor or other bad behavior, and you find it even 5 mins after the fact, dont even bother disciplining  the dog because its not gonna understand what your referring too. You have to catch them doing it for it to stick. I have trained so many animals and have never hit any of them and have always had success. You respect the animal, and it learns your not something to fear but something to look up to and that you are its protector, it will respect you and protect you right back. If you hit it and it learns to fear you from that, and not listen but submit, it will turn on you eventually. Beating something into submission is not training. Always remember that man.

One thing I can guarantee is he will constantly test you especially in his younger years. No one can tell you for sure if he is 100 percent pure bread. Persistence and repetition are key. They truly are great dog, I never have to worry about him around others; two or four legs. Take him to dog parks while he's young to get him properly socialized. It also helps to have people over as well. Husky's are pretty much notorious for having really sensitive stomachs. Put him on a high quality semi low protein diet now and keep him on it.
