Ok so i bought the kids a husky. Parents both look purebred so I am assuming our is purebred. They never did the Akc register because they were told thats basically for shows and competition. What do you think?

What are his eyes like? Its easier to tell when they are a little earlier. My aunt is exclusive to Huskies... I can send her the picture and see what she thinks.

Your kids are so lucky! I have wanted a Husky since I became a furry when I was 9 years old (am 21 now) and my parents won't let me have a big dog. Just remember those huskies can get wild with energy in their later years hehe!

Oh yea I almost forgot, I agree with BF3Pro for sure. That looks like a purebred to me, if it was a mutt of any kind you would be able to tell just by looking at him/her(what gender is it btw?)

I got both of my puppies a little over a year ago. They are a lot of work at the beginning, but totally worth it. Congrats, I always wanted a Husky as well, but I don't really have the space for a larger dog. So I went with what I've had since I was born, toy poodles.

nice pup bud, but blue eyes does not mean he is pure bred, if he was they would have the papers on him,( it is possible he is but doubtful without the papers) hope you are ready for the shedding they do, it is quite something   he may end up looking like this...

Nice! American Kennel Club is a scam to be honest and only certain breeds qualify. There is also another one... Its a way to charge triple for the dog. Anyways nice dog! I have a Grey wolf Siberian husky mix. Very protective will kill to protect you just like any dog though... the akc is not a scam.
do some research on puppy mills and in-breeding of dogs, they try to stop that but there are ways to cheat the system.

the puppy looks great, look for a book called Bash on dogs{the guys last name is Bashinski } it is a great book to train dogs with,i have used it to train my Rotti,s.
easy to understand and train with.

That's a cute dog you have there. I like the color of huskys well the grey and white kind. But anyways I hate dogs now. I hate my dog. I use to like him but now I dont. I hate how dirty he is with slobbering over my clothes and the floor as well as ripping furniture and always stinking even after you wash him.  I hate how dogs always freaking bark!!! Well my dog wont shut up!!! Since my stupid neighbors from all directions  left, right, and front in my back yard got themselves dogs such as a bull dog, golden rechrever and black lab, which they are causing my dog to bark and be stupid. I think I should eat my dog like them Koreans eat dog as a delicacy. I always wondered what dog tasted like. I am joking. I know you domestic animal lovers will have a big hissy fit. Just to let yall know, I ate A LOT different kinds of animals and they were good to the bone. What sucks is I cant get rid of him because my brother and his girlfriend love the animal so he has to be part of my family. I should just open the gate and let him run away forever so then he does not have to be part of the family.

All dogs have blue eyes when they are pups, cause the eyes are not fully developed for semi-color vision yet. They only see black and white and blobs and shadows. Ususally around 10 weeks or so they develop there real eye color and keep it. Huskys are crazy energy dogs....I coudnt own one myself cause I don't have kids to wear him out!! Train him NOW....all the time cause they are really clever...he will surprise you with his antics probably. Theyre known for opening doors, turning knobs, closets etc.... youll see!! lol I shouldn't be laughing actually cause a lot of them get sent to shelters cause of stuff like that. Don't be so hung up on pure breeding either. Pure breeding over generations is what introduces all the defects in the lines, so don't be so quick to shy away from a mutt. @doorules; I was lolling at your pict with the fence and snow....those two must laugh at you everytime they go out, like "this guy thinks we cant jump over this fence, snow or no snow?!?!?" lol  :P

You better have a large'er fenced(very tall Fance) yard and lots of free time to train, play and socialize the Husy pup & also time after the pup stage, or any pup/dog for that matter.

Please tell me you have a big yard and large dog proof for inside the house?

Don't be so hung up on pure breeding either. Pure breeding over generations is what introduces all the defects in the lines, so don't be so quick to shy away from a mutt. @doorules; I was lolling at your pict with the fence and snow....those two must laugh at you everytime they go out, like "this guy thinks we cant jump over this fence, snow or no snow?!?!?" lol  :P

All dogs certainly do not have blue eyes when they are pups . No idea where you came up with that one. Some Huskies do and some don't, has nothing to do with pure bred either. Mine just happened to though...
