No, EVGA will announce the date and time that the auto notify will go live on social media and these forums will be alive with the information.  Don't worry, you won't miss it.  Good luck.

People need to temper expectations honestly, it's an amazing thing that EVGA has a queue system set up for these cards but if you get in one of these right as it goes live, it will still take months at best to get one. It's okay, it's something. Much better than trying to compete with bots for a card that's marked up x2 MSRP. Shoot your shot, go out and enjoy the summer, and things will be okay

Build in Progress:
CPU: Ryzen 9 5900x
GPU: RTX3080 or 3080ti  <----
Motherboard: Aorus Elite x570
RAM: 2x16GB (32GB) G.Skill Trident Z
PSU: NZXT C850 Gold
AIO: NZXT Kraken Z73 360mm
SSD: WD Black 1TB

Entering the queue already guarantees you a card at MSRP. It's just the waiting game now and patience is a virtue and that's up to you. If you are in a hurry to get one, then this queue system isn't for you.

does anyone have information regarding when the queue is going to open? Is there a tentative date for it or is it still up in the air?

The only thing that is certain is that NVIDIA will give a keynote by Jeff Fisher, GeForce Senior Vice President, at Computex 2021 in Taiwan. This keynote is scheduled for May 31st at 10:00 PM local time. On the US West Coast that is May 31st at 07:00 AM PDT (Pacific Daylight Time). It is likely that the 3080 Ti and the 3070 Ti will be announced there. The rumored review dates and the launch dates are likely to be June 2nd and June 3rd for the 3080 Ti and June 9th and June 10th for the 3070 Ti. That means that the queue's probably will open on June 3rd and on June 10th.

Yeah, the lists have been very slow-moving. Not unexpected at all. I have a feeling the 3080-ti queue is gonna be huge.

It will be announced before hand by EVGA with date and time when the auto notify will go live.  The 3090 HC and the K|NGP|N HC were at 10:00 am PDST.  I am in the queue for the 3090 HC at 10:00:52 and there are probably still about 800+ ahead of me and notifications have gone out to 10:00:17.  The 3090 HC is the only card I was interested in getting at the present time.  The K|NGP|N HC queue shut down, I believe, after ten minutes.

When the 3080Ti goes live, you will have to be fast and have a little bit of luck.

Appreciate the insight. I'm assuming the 3080ti will following an extremely similar process re: time and number of people jumping in the queue.

Re: How's the Queue Likely to Work? 2021/05/28 12:34:25 (permalink)
So another question about the queue, just to prepare myself to fill it out as fast as possible (damn those bots..) - I presume they'll post a link **somewhere** - either some time before sign-up opens or the moment it goes live? And then fill out a form with **some info** - do I have to be logged into my EVGA account to sign up? Or is it just a simple form where I provide my email/name? It sounds like seconds count here if you want one in the next few months or not...

If you're trying to get into an early access queue, I can't imagine a situation where you wouldn't need to be logged into the account that grants you the early access.  But, I've been wrong before...

Re: How's the Queue Likely to Work? 2021/05/29 01:56:53 (permalink)
I will note that with this upcoming launch, evga’s queue system has been heavily popularized.
Unfortunately, it is likely that the difference of a few minutes with regard to queue entry will translate to several months of wait time. Coming in outside of the elite exclusive window could result is a delay over a year.  This is of course speculation, given the unknown variable of silicon production rates, but historic data from existing queues suggests this is possible.

It’s best to fallow EVGA and Jacob on Twitter and EVGA on Facebook for the best way to keep track of the launch and get to Elite so you have the extra 24 hours early access to the queue system. When it launches the page will say “auto notify” you want to click that and fill in the information ASAP. It will not say “in stock” just “auto notify”.

Use an Associates Code & SAVE 5% - 10% on your purchase. Just click on the associates banner to save, or enter the associates code at checkout on your next purchase. If you choose to use my code I want to personally say "Thank You" for using it.

Well it is pretty simple, page will be timedout and when you get to sign up for the notification you would be like the 1000th.

Close. He appears with a spatula and starts spanking you with it. He is a man of many spatulas.

"Many Spatulas"?  Jensen has a world class collection.  I guess it is cheaper than van Gogh paintings.

Helpful thread, thanks for the info one when/how the notify time will be announced. Though now I'm unnerved, since I figured with the limited number of elite members they ought to fill the first days notifies relatively fast based on the previous queue speed.
