A very nice tutorial on how to access the control panel via the file explorer. Some very good info here

    In the Ask me anything box, and choose the first option.

    Right click on "This PC" and select properties is what I do. It will take you to the system properties in the control panel and on the right is device manager. Pretty much everything I need is right in front of me at that point but I can also go to the control panel home.

    Just right click on the windows start icon in the lower left hand corner.
    You then have access to just about everything

    Just right click on the windows start icon in the lower left hand corner.
    You then have access to just about everything


    But my Windows Start Icon isn't in the lower left corner. It is in the upper left corner. :)
