Hi, I'm a bit worried about all the New World fuss (not only in New World...) and the bricked RTX 3090, 3080, etc. (AMD is also impacted apparently)

How do I know whether my EVGA 3080 FTW3 Ultra Gaming is faulty or not ?
I've seen some "red light" issues and total brick due to New World.

I managed to test Grounded for 10 min in 2560x1440 Ultra, GPU usage ~ 90-100% and nothing particular happened (except the expected loud fans sounding like a helicopter about to take off )

I understand that capping FPS is a good prevention for now, but in ressource heavy games that use (or will use) 100% GPU even below 60 FPS, aren't we just postponing or GPUs death ?

This will sound silly and possibly rude, but:

If your card dies, RMA it. If it doesn’t die, don’t RMA it.

It is literally that simply. The only way to postpone whether it is susceptible is to not use it. This applies to any electronic device, not just a GPU.

I would hope they drop a new bios for it to keep the fans from going crazy.
