In the FAQs it says its compatible.  I have the 1.09 Bios.  And while it doesn't say "Intel PTT Support" I have enabled PTT and all other areas in the FAQ.

Windows says it won't be compatible based on the CPU (7700K).

OP can't upgrade the CPU, it is the best CPU supported by the motherboard

Microsoft determined (somehow) that the 7700K does not meet system reliability specs.  A LOT of people are commenting on this all over the place.
This article tells you how to install Windows 11 anyway - although it will be "unsupported" by Microsoft (no feature updates).

Correct, so he will need to upgrade his motherboard as well.

Good suggestion, but no updates is a deal breaker for some.

Agreed.  It means you have to do a fresh install everytime there's a major features update.
I'm guessing that MS will eventually add 7xxx series into the supported CPU list.  It's pretty shady that they added the  i7-7820HQ to the supported list but not the other 7700K.  (Because the Microsoft Surface Studio 2 has that CPU, and is still on the market)

Give it some time .  Microsoft wants to get ahold of as many computers in the world as they can .
I got a pop-up from them a couple weeks ago that said my machine was not compatible with windows 11,
and that I should run their compatibility tool, ect.  I didn't .  Then a few days later another pop up that said
it was compatible with windows 11, and so on .  I'm ignoring windows 11 for now .

    To the moon !
