Hi everyone.
I've been having this annoying issue with the oled screen from my Kingpin 2080 Ti, whenever I use an image or GIF file that covers the entire screen and has a lot of detail in it the oled screen or something inside the actual card starts making this really annoying high pitched sound.
Said sound stops when I switch to the default animations or images.
Is this normal or am I the only one that has this issue?

Not really, this weird noise starts if it's a high detailed picture or a high detailed GIF.

I post it to the Kingpin's Oled screen, the noise starts whenever the image or gif file is on the display and stops if I remove it or use one that doesn't have a lot of detail on it.
What GIF did you use?

jpg file worked as well and ran Time Spy.
Not hearing any sound from the OLED but not everyone can hear coil whine.
Looks Cool, but I like to see Temps & Voltage on mine.

It can be somewhat easily muffled by fan noise or something.
Maybe other people have the problem or I actually have some bad luck on this one :(

Correct. But even if it did I do not think I can hear it. I have never heard Coil Whine on my Graphics Cards. I have heard it once on an old APC UPS Unit. But if your card is a Great Performer you may want to think twice before you RMA your GPU. Sorry I should have stated above that I do have the KPE Hydro Copper Water Block installed.

I used the same image and I could hear the whine on my kingpin. Hope that helps.
PS: Doesn't bother me :-) Also don't think that is coil whine but rather some sort of interference - or maybe that is what coil whine is lol.

Or maybe it's just how the actual screen works, pushing that amount of pixels means that the display is in need of more power and that's why it makes those sounds but I don't know :P

No whine coming from my hydro copper oled either, same image used as the one above

Maybe the hydro copper doesn't have the issue or it could be that the high pitched noise can only be heard by certain people.
