When you become an Elite member, you get your own code to share?

When you become an Elite member, you get your own code to share?

The code mentioned is an associate code, which when used, gives people who use it a 3-10% discount on most items on the evga.com store, and a certain amount of EVGA bucks to the person who's code you used.

You can get your own associate code to give out if you join the associate program (where you first need to be an elite member), but if you do, you cannot use associate codes yourself. So the question is, do you want to earn EVGA bucks from people using your code, or do you want the discount, as you can't do both.

Info on the associate program here: https://www.evga.com/associates/
What EVGA bucks are and how they work https://www.evga.com/evgabucks/

You can also use a link that you can find in some people signature (like me) to go ahead and save the associate code ahead of time, so you don't have to use it when checking out.
In either case, using an associate code will help both you and the person who's code you use.

    Does this work?

    No, everyone's just trolling...

Yes it works. When purchasing gear at the EVGA.com store, use someone's associate code when you check out and here's the discounts you can get based on product type:

    Graphics Cards 3%
    Motherboards 5%
    Power Supplies 10%
    Audio 10%
    Capture Device 5%
    Cases 10%
    Cooling 10%
    Gaming Keyboards 5%
    Gaming Mice 5%

This will apply to anyone who is NOT an associate member themselves.

If you're an associate member yourself, you don't get any discounts, but when someone uses your code when making a purchase, you get EVGA Bucks instead, which you can then use as credits for when you make a purchase.. more details here [link].

There is also another program called the Rewards program (used to be called the affiliate program, but that got confused with associate too easily, so they changed the name). The rewards program is used when you register your product [link]. It doesn't give you anything, but whoever's code you used gets 2 EVGA Bucks. Just remember, after registering your product, you also need to upload a copy of the invoice [link].

You will find links to one or both programs in the signatures of many forum members.

    Cheers.

When you sign up for Elite membership a wheel pops up on your Elite home page that you can spin for a discount that can be used once and expires within 90 days.
