Seeming every major gaming company has released a "gaming chair" over the past few years, and Thermaltake is the latest brand to jump on the bandwagon. That said, Thermaltake is taking a different approach to its competitors, decided to release a chair design that's fundamentally different from typical "gaming chair" varieties. Meet the Thermaltake CyberChair E500

Where most gaming chairs take design cues from the automotive industry, Thermaltake is taking its design cues from mesh seating like the world-famous Herman Miller Aerion. With mesh cushioning, Thermaltake's gaming chair is truly breathable and offers styling that's more professional looking than many racing-style chairs.

Thermaltake promises a wide range of adjustment options for its new CyberChair E500, promising "high adjustability ranging from headrest, seat depth, height adjustment, and wire-control mechanism with multi lockable positions to reach maximum comfort." Furthermore, the chair can accommodate users that weigh up to 330 lb (150kg) thanks to its sturdy frame and aluminium base.

The CyberChair E500 will be available in Q1 2020 with a retail price of $599.99 in the US. The chair will be available at Thermaltake's online store and though partnered retailers.

Personally I like the design but almost 600 dollars for this chair is far too much money.

No cup or speaker holder🤔...no deal/money for you😾😸

Those who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way.

What's the difference between gaming chairs and high quality office chairs? I assumed it was the style, but if that's taken away... how is it a gaming chair? Because of it's brand?

My issue with most computer chairs aren't the configuration but rather the large gross logos they put on them. Those logos all look so trashy.

I've had this gaming chair for 3 years now.  My wrist and arm started up on me around 1-2 years ago.  My shoulder and back started up on me since last year.  Usually pain peaks around winter time when everything gets cold.  Don't usually feel a thing in summer but CBD pain cream does come to the rescue to give me some relief.

Anyhoo, I think it's the chair and not my weight/age (not even 40 or extremely overweight) that is the issue.  Too bad I'm busy prioritizing other things to get than a $1000+ exec chair with a flat comfy back like I kinda used to have one of them cheap $100 best buy chairs.  It was comfy till the bottom turned to concrete.

I agree that the price seems to be high for a home use chair. An office chair though can be very expensive for a good quality but a lot of offices have people who will come out and take measurements when buying the high end office chairs to make sure it's a great fit and good ergonomic support for the employee.

This.....The office chairs that many managers in my company have are about 900 bucks...they're mesh types....they're really comfortable....

Myself, I go for the 99 dollar office max specials...but I can see people paying 600 bucks for a comfortable quality chair.

Can't argue that....most of the managers I mentioned did have the measurements taken....
