This is a new project I started a few months ago, after bailing on the last revision to my Aqua W/B system.  This system uses a B450 Strix I Gaming, AMD Ryzen 2600, EVGA 1050 3GB SC Gaming, and EVGA 650 GM SFX PSU.  The case is the HDplex H5 2nd Gen, and all I am waiting on is the EVGA 1050.  I choose the 1050 and 2600 for there very low TDP's since this case can only handle 95w TDP parts for each side heatsink.  Storage will be 2x NVMe Crucial P1 500GB.  I sleeved all the cables on the front I/O and used the 24pin and 8pin from a 1000T2 PSU since the ones that came with the GM where not long enough.

P1's and the CPU and GPU Heatsinks.

B450 Strix, I took it apart and gave it 6w m/k thermal pads.

I looked into it and thought about the Silver Stone SST-NJ450-SXL, but they wanted $190~ for a 450w unit, cool part, but I just went with the 650GM which I am able to use the cables from my 1000T2, since they are longer.  Not to mention the unit has a built in Eco mode and will only use the fan when necessary.  I even attach 6w m/k thermal pads to the base to "sink" it to the case.

Thank you! Yes I will be too, Got the 1050 SC all heatsink'ed up and just waiting on some M2 screws so I can attach the Alphacool backplate too it and have some thermal pads on that.  Used Grizzly Minus 8 thermal pads.

Thank you very much, got great news!  It booted up on the first try, only issue I ran into is "USB over current" error in the BIOS startup, so I simply unplugged the USB 2.0 header and it fixed the issue, I must have wired it incorrectly when I was sleeving it.  System temps I would say are very good for no fans, the R5 2600 runs at 3.0-3.67GHz and seems to top off at 50c.  The 1050 3GB also has great temps and runs around 28-31c idle.  The CPU heatsink side of the case gets the warmest.  The Alphacool GTX 750 backplate used also helps transfer some heat away from the GPU.  Overall I am very happy with the success of this system and it feels a little strange having a PC that is 0dB, use to the sound of fans and pumps.  The GM650 also runs great no fan spin up, since the load on this system is so low, only 78w~!  The NVMe's run around the 40-52c range, the one that has the ROG heatsink seems to run the hottest, while the other NVMe is actually installed on the backside of the board which I thermally attached to the bottom of the case with 2x 1.5mm 6w m/k pads.

Here is a small upgrade to the NVMe heatsink, dropped temps from 52c down to the 30c~.  The bottom of the NVMe has the BP armor shim from another kit.

Get a fanless PSU for a true passive system.

Modern PSU only turn the fan when it's needed. With it being rated at 650W and probably not pulling near that the fan probably doesn't turn on much if at all in eco mode.

As for the build it's a very cool build.

That EVGA 650GM unit has no ECO switch, but rather its a feature built in, system only uses 78w~ of power and is very energy efficient so the fan never turns on.  Thank you!

Got the PSU in, want to change the stock cables down the road to custom ones and I think rotating the PSU would look better.

Custom cables in!  Next upgrade will be a GPU with a little more bite .  Running an ASRock Z390M AC ITX, 9400F, Xtreem 3600, SX8200 Pro now.  Have a custom VRM and Chipset heatsink in the works for this board.  Cables where made by ModDiy, 8pin EPS and 24pin ATX.

Thank you!  I got the RX5500XT Strix 8GB card as the 1050 3GB replacement.  The 5500XT should have roughly well over double the performance.  Coming in at a 130 TDP it should be alright in the HDplex, though they recommend a max GPU TDP of 95w.  The GDDR6 chips will be right under the copper plate which is nice, got a separate VRM heatsink for it.

Updated this system a long time ago.  But nonetheless, 9600K, MEG IO Shield, Z390 ASRock Phantom Gaming ITX, dual NVMe SX8200 PRO and no more GPU (Using Intel integrated GPU).  Some classic Dominator platinum ram to boot with CableMod Heatsink covers.
