I'm a bit late to this thread :)

Looks very good, a sound well thought out idea

I understand from a different thread that a 92mm fan will screw directly into the holes in the end of the gpu, but of course it will have a poorer performance to sound ratio, and as the op showed such a large temp drop, I'm very tempted to try this myself :)

You need to get more posts under your belt.

Hething... good idea. I just dont like having anything loose in my case... especially fans. Also, as soon as I saw your first pic I was like "hey, hes got an 800D too!". Then I thought... man my bracket plates are REALLY nice... IDK if I would want to bend one up. Heh.

Probably.. when I was younger I had a 20 sqr meter Lego town including firestations, policestations, hospitals, schools, soccerfields, airport and a habour.. I still got all the Lego but it is not assembled anymore..:P

Mostly people outside Denmark notice my lastname before they notice how much I care for Lego..

You actually typed my lastname before..

its wierd that you straightened the bent part and put the screw thru the straight part.

it would be easier just to use the half hole since its already bent at the correct spot, although instead of using screws that screw directly into the fan you would have to use a nut and bolt
plus the slot covers i have dont have that hole :o
