Thank your for your great service.  EVGA has replaced my presumably broken GTX 1070 FTW with a GTX 1070 FTW2 within only 5 days. Below I share a log of the quick RMA process.
 
Summary:
    - Bought new card: GTX 1070 FTW
    - Computer didn't start with it (no fans spin up, nothing)
    - Created forum post and support ticket
    - Received replacement by EVGA within 5 days: GTX 1070 FTW2
    - New card works very well
    - Thank you
    
Log of RMA process:
    Location: Dortmund, Germany

    Saturday 06/17/2017, 15:25: Purchased GTX 1070 FTW
    Saturday 06/17/2017, 20:55: Product Registered
    Saturday 06/17/2017, 21:14: Support ticket created
    
    Sunday 06/18/2017, 15:39: Support ticket answered:
                                    - Can create RMA request
    Sunday 06/18/2017, .....: Entered RMA request on EVGA website
                         18:41: Mail from EVGA: RMA request created
                                    - Under review
                            
    Monday 06/19/2017, 09:50: Mail from EVGA: Advanced RMA (EAR) approved
                                    - Pay collateral via PayPal
                                    - E-Mail Attachment: PDF label to put on package
                                    - Only send back the card without any accessories
                                    - 30 days time otherwise collateral won't be returned
                         18:35: Sent collateral via PayPal to EVGA

    Tuesday 06/20/2017, 13:31: Mail from EVGA: EVGA has shipped your RMA
                                    - Shipped via UPS
                         18:30: Mail from EVGA: EVGA automatically registered the new graphics card

    Thursday 06/22/2017, 14:59: UPS delivers the package with the new graphics card (GTX 1070 FTW2)

    Monday 06/26/2017, .....: I sent off a package with the presumably broken card to EVGA

    Thursday 06/29/2017, 09:47: Mail from EVGA: EVGA has received package and refunded the collateral payment
                         09:47: Mail from PayPal: EVGA has refuned the collateral
