anybody have thoughts on this little product, has an old guide but they sell all the adapters to all the cards I currently own on frozen
http://www.frozencpu.com/products/2074/ex-blc-292/Swiftech_MCW60-T_Liquid_Cooled_Thermoelectric_VGA_Block_-_12_ID.html?tl=g30c357s925

found an old review of it cooling a 7800gtx @12v and the hottest during testing it got was 15c I think it may be a good starting point for that old 7900gs laying about, then an meanwell psu to get it going at 19v for my other cards

any thoughts

well compared to a full gpu block for each card I own not so much, just have to get some quality ramsinks and some good airflow, let me know anything you find out John, Im pretty sure It will have no problems on my 7900gs or 8600gts, but with my 8800gt and 260s it worries me a little.

and yay Im now superclocked after beeing on these forums ove a year I no longer feel like a noob

not so sure about the 260, but im thinking you should be alright with everything lower than that.
im benching a 7300 right now and it looks like it could hold that block. not sure about the screw holes though.

hey im knew to this thread (but i read most of it it took 5 days!!!)

but i have an idea for a dice/ln2 pot

its alot like one of nates (the one that is stepped with the  holes)

so just tap the holes and use threded coper rods when you are using ln2 and then unscrew them for dice

Is there a reason for you quoting yourself? looking to be noticed or something?

hows it going Q?

aight, think i'm going to break down.  XP install went fine and was able to get a '05 & '03 run in beating my old scores by a little, but then things started to go flaky.  Got to the point the gpu wouldn't display (blue light no go), so I shut it down about 5 hours ago.  I just tried again and the blue light came on, but then it got hung up on post.

Rebooted, then got the long beep and no light.  Liquid temp is mid 40's F, so I took the vid card out and there were some droplets of water in/on the pci-e slot.   I loaded the slot with PJ, but was probably causing a short.  Not much at all, but water non the less.  I'm going to break down and see what's going on.......like I got time for that!  Had to do it anyway when Nate makes a special delivery

i didn't want to say it, but that's what's wrong...water is probably on the board or card board some where...and right now it's giving you the.."we need help" call..... before something shorts out and you see sparks.

and i know the feeling...i keep breaking mine down every few days to check...and sometimes i find things...so i hit it with the compressor for a few minutes then put it back together and everything is fine.

also why i refined my prep work. i love how you guys have yours, but im a motherboard nanny..i have to be able to look at the board and make sure she is alright...lol... and to know that my prep work is holding up.

nate takes a day for prep...man!, i can't do that...as much as im switching things around right now....i would never get any benching in...lol

with all the condensation problems why dont you just put it in a big cardboard box and fill it with co2 to displace the moistur in the air

Well, now what do I do?  I benched with just the cpu on the chiller and ran my 8800 gpu tonight.  Now the temps are at -24C and I gotta get some shuteye!  There is no way I'm warming this up!!  What do I do?  Turn it off and just leave it?  keep the computer going all night idle?

shut it down.

worse case...the water will be dry by tomorrow.
or just use a blower and blow the water out.

you'll be alright....even add a paper towel or two to be safe....

I doubt he knows john. He's been going on about it since he jumped into the thread. That and his ln/2 pot idea.

2300 btu will hold like 4 fermi cards under control.
that's some serious cooling there...wonder if it goes lower than -35 though

23500 would cool the whole friggin house. This no doubt is sitting on it's own concrete pad outside. No way they can fit it in the house.

Unless he got one of these.
