chrisdglong I cannot believe more people are not concerned with the response from EVGA regarding water damage. There is liquid in this cooler, a percentage will leak and destroy other components in the process...
Pretty ignorant statement there. I've had my H100i cooler in my system running 24/7 for awhile now. A percentage will leak? No good sir, it won't just magically leak. If there is an issue somewhere in the loop, then yes it is possible. But liquid is not just going to seep out over time. That's not how things work. Do cars just spontaneously leak coolant everywhere? Similar system there my friend. As long as the connections are tight and everything functions as intended, it is FINE for the life of the product. I don't care what's on the Corsair forum. Do you have any idea how many of these units are sold and used compared to how many people complain about a leak? The vocal ones are often the disgruntled ones - that's how it works. Happy people don't usually go out of their way to voice their satisfaction and experience. And besides, the coolant used AFAIK should not harm components as it is not conductive. It will make a mess, but it shouldn't blow your system up like regular water will.

Fact remains, a certain percentage WILL leak, being defective.

Vlada011 That's very small chance to leak and coolant inside is not danger as clear water. If cooler leak they will replace card because it's very small chance to liquid destroy something... You see position on AIO cooler. If you install him on HDD case as someone even if he leak coolant will not drop on hardware. Graphic card PCB is above possible leak point in case. Tubes look little reinforced for durability. From pictures look very fine build and nice and they didn't forget backplate.
Have you been to the Corsair forums, Googled, Corsair leak?? https://www.google.com/se...p;ie=UTF-8&qscrl=1
I didn't look CORSAIR Forum in last period but when I bought their AIO Systems I always read about leak. H50, H70 and now H100. Some risk persist, with AIO on CPU risk is even bigger because liquid will drop probably on motherboard and on top of graphic PCB. In this case you can install on that way that even if he start to leak hardware will not be damaged. Only chance is for PSU, but if grill is not on top no way to leak so much that pass through PSU. That would be probably full house of chemical smell much before that. If they use similar coolant. You see how he installed ... and where will liquid go in this case?

Thanks Vlada011 but I have never had leak problems with any Corsair AIO CPU Coolers. As it is laid now I should not have any real problems if Corsair or EVGA AIO unit starts leaking.

zennacko A few noob questions about these cards, as I am desperate to play GTA V on release AND got beyond tired of the waiting game AMD is playing.
For step-up, overclock and heat purposes, which one is better to get: 980 FTW or 980 Hybrid? I know it's a 70 dollar difference and one has an AIO while the other has a custom air cooler (and custom PCB?). However, in case a 980ti shows up in the next 3 months, either one of these can step up or did I miss something?
I'm fairly certain these could theoretically overclock better. There is a review on youtube that gets his card to 1600...but I also don't believe anything in this discussion is binned(correct me if I'm wrong) so you are highly at the mercy of the lottery. I would personally go for the FTW because I suspect it has better vrm cooling and cools better over the entirety of the card than the stock cooler, but even in this I may be wrong. As far as step-up to the 980ti, there is no way to know how that will be handled because the nomenclature of the card we are referring to as the 980ti may be different. I'm unsure of historical precedent in this case. Review I mentioned is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98P_NjK3ft8
That was a really nice review, thank you for that. Jay said that 70FPS was great; Now my question is why are some users complaining that they cannot get 120FPS or More Gaming? Some users are even complaining that their GTX 960 is not getting 120+FPS while gaming.

No not yet, I have not turned it on yet, my CPU and Memory comes in today. My plan is to install Windows 10 so with one card it should run 3DMark without issues.

I'm happy to announce I successfully installed a 980 AIO on a Titan X. I have a 3rd Titan X coming in the next day or two and 3 AIO units in total. I will post pics and benchmarks then. I did a simple benchmark test with Heaven 1.0. I have both cards overclocked to about 1400mhz with max power target, temp target, overvolt, ect. My normal Titan X I ran the GPU fan at a static 100% which is around 4,800RPM (LOUD) My AIO Titan X I ran the GPU fan at a static 20% which is around 1,000RPM (quiet) I'm using a Corsair SP120 quiet edition running at a static 700RPM for the AIO radiator (quiet) My AIO Titan X runs 20C+ cooler and obviously 10x quieter than the other Titan X running. I'm sure the difference would be 30C+ if both fans were running the same speed. More to come in a few days.

Push it even higher! I want to see how high that thing can go... I am betting 1500+ MHz, though that may require a custom BIOS as others with custom loop systems have done. Also, what's your ASIC reading? I just placed an order for two on Amazon... hopefully they come in stock soon!

Try going to Nvidia control panel
Select "Manage 3D Settings"
Click on Global Settings, then scroll down to "Power Management Mode" and change it from adaptive to "Prefer Maximum Performace"
Run 3DMark and see if that helps with your score!

I think, and could be wrong, that they need to update the part number for the card itself in the records. I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure they add that in for the validation part, just like gpuz would give you.

Some new GeForce GTX 980 HYBRID Benchmark Scores 3DMark Fire Strike: 13,076 3DMark 11: 17,355After adding a second fan in Push/Pull Air intake in the front and out the back of the computer case Temperatures never hit 40C. Next to Fold on them to see how hot they get, good way to burn-in a GPU.

I have bought the upgrade version for my reference GTX980. The quality is great and thanks to wise VRM/MEM cooling solution it even imporved memory overclocking capabilities for my card (7600->8000 MHz). But unfortunately the pump is quite noisy, it is the loudest part of my PC at idle. I'm thinking about buying "4-Pin PWM to 4-Pin GPU Connector" to lower the voltage of the pump via motherboard bios or speed controller. I know some of the AIOs designed by Asetek support variable pump speed (e.g. NZXT Kraken Xx1 series) but for example Corsair strongly recommends to connect their AIOs to 12V. So my question is: is it safe for EVGA Hybrid Watercooler?

Ok results are in for my 3x Titan X’s AIOs: Setup: 3x Stock Nvidia Titan X’s with stock BIOS with EVGA 980 All-In-One liquid coolers Case/Cooling: Caselabs Mercury S8. 7 intake fans. 6 exhaust fans (room for 1 more exhaust) Fans: All Corsair SP120 Quiet Editions running at the static full speed of 1,450RPM 23dBA GPU Fan speed: Lowest possible setting (22% around 1050RPM) GPU setup: Sandwich stacked Overclock: +225Mhz on all 3 cards (1440Mhz speed) Highest temperature rating running intense GPU benchmarks: 60C (Probably 50C in games) I couldn’t find anything to measure GPU VRM & Memory temp unless someone can point me in the right direction If this was Tri-SLI sandwich stacked on air, the GPU fans would probably be running at 100% at a full 5800RPM and would probably be reaching 90C+ and throttling. Plus 100x louder. Yes I have room for 1 more AIO Titan X & a slot at the top to put the radiator but I don’t think I’ll need it! (at least just yet) My biggest complaint is the motors make an annoying buzzing sound. I am VERY familiar with the problems all the Corsair CPU AIOs have and this isn’t any of them. This isn’t the sound of air trapped inside nor the sound of the pump getting too much voltage leading to a ticking sound. It’s the same sound as a wire slightly touching one of your case fans or something. My suspicion is maybe the pump is getting too much voltage or this is just how they are. I have to run a voltage regulator on my Corsair CPU AIO H105 so it doesn’t make a horrible grinding/ticketing sound. This might be happening because the Titan X’s fan the pump leeches off of may have more amps than the 980s and this pump was made for the 980 so that MAY be the cause but again unsure. When I just had one of these running, my fans running at 725RPM would cover up the sound. Having 3 of these now the buzzing sound grows. Now I can still SLIGHTLY hear it even when my fans are at full 1,450 RPM. Again not a big deal because I can’t hear it at all when playing games or there’s some type of background noise. Only in a quiet room with just my computer running I can hear the motors. These AIOs perform in both performance and sound exactly where it should. Between air cooling and full water cooling. I am happy with the purchase but I wish it didn’t have the buzzing sound. I may get a single Titan X AIO if EVGA ever comes out with one to see if the buzzing goes away. I don’t think I can mod the voltage to the pump since it uses a weird small 4 pin connector that the GPU fan uses. It’s not pretty but it’s functional! I stopped caring how the inside of my case looked a few years ago when I realized I was spending more time building my computers than actually using them. No window on my case. I recommend everyone try to do the same. It’s like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders.

Seyumi Time for you to Build a MODS RIGSCreate a Build Report Under EVGA MODS RIGS That is a nice looking Image you have. Though it might need a little cable management. "My biggest complaint is the motors make an annoying buzzing sound" I only heard that for about 10 minutes and after that nothing.

I ordered the gtx980 hybrid from overclockers.uk and it was meant tobe in stock on the 10th. As you can see its past that date now and i rang them and asked what was going on, they stated it was evga's fault. Now im finding this hard to believe, so im wondering if anyone from evga can comment on this, because to date i have never known evga not to deliver to companys when they say they will. Because and dont ask me why, but i have a sinking feeling that something is amiss here.
