TheJav85, My advice would be to do a system restore to a day that you know for a fact that everything was working without issues than try doing a clean install of the latest video drivers.

Sajin maniacvvv Do you live in the U.S? Why don't you just post how to fix the issue on the forums maniac? You know... so we can ALL learn. Because I dont know the issue yet.... On the face of it, it would appear a previous installer is still running and it failed because he did not answer YES when prompted for the WHQL signing bypass needed for a BETA driver.... A reboot, check of running processes, installed programs list and a look at his startup list THEN decide what is going on.... and correct it, or do a step by step walk thru and determine the failure point. I have a 98% success rating with drivers as long as the hardware is working

texasrattler Telling pepople to do this or that without knowing what is wrong is pretty stupid. You could make things worse. All your doing is guessing at what could be the problem, when at least maniac is looking at a specific issue. I know what the problem is. A system restore should correct the issue.

Do anyone use the create system image option before installing device drivers? I create a system image monthly or before a new driver install. So far I've been lucky and havent had to restore my os. I 'm useing driver 320.18 with no problems. I install video drivers as per maniac's guide. its common sense really. Nope, never have, never will. I've personally seen system restore not work. I stay away from it as it doesn't fix most things. U'd better off reinstalling Windows. I'd only do that as a last resort but never for a game or app.

NoahP I did a clean install so I wiped it all out before I installed. Do I really need it? Yes, Graphics driver and PhysX are both needed I dont understand "wiped it all out" before you installed? How did you perform this? incorrect method could cause your reported PhysX install failure... You never wipe or uninstall anything before a new driver install. You simply launch the Nvidia installer in Custom Mode and uncheck everything but Graphics driver and PhysX -and- put a check box for "Perform a clean install" The Nvidia driver will then remove everything properly for you and install you new driver correctly Here is the description and video http://forums.evga.com/fb.ashx?m=1776355

I have had to restore a System Image before and I was glad that it was there. Having to re-install Windows 7 and then all of my system tweaks and other software is a genuine PITA not to mention time consuming.
