Work is in progress. And sorry for the delay but actually only since the last few days/week we started to get some real help from people who know what they are doing. Sorry we can't do it alone, as we don't have such a GeForce GTX 6x0 series to try it out (the advertising is not even covering the hosting costs anymore). :-(

If more people would actually help us, to share what they know on how to tweak certain parameters in certain BIOS's we would have been able to get a NiBiTor out already...

ok guys i modded a Galaxy GTX 670 4GB bios version 80.04.31.00.3F (P2004-0005) you can download from attached file. thanx nikolatesla for the links on the info that helped me out.

Voltage: 1.2125
GPU-Clock: 1202MHz
MEM-Clock: untouched
FAN 20%-100%
DEFAULT clock: 915
BOARD power: 200/100% 250/125% <<untouched default for the version of card.
GTX670 - 4GB - 6+8pin

Finally. The new video card is here, now to just unlock the fan speed, which many thanks to Tombi for this. I also get to see how the backplate also works.

Willem, I'm on my phone but I can tell you where to get the information you need. If you look on page 2 of this thread where Tombi posts towards the bottom he says the command to use to get the bios and to upload them back once they're modified. He uses a program called nvflash but you have to use a certain version or higher otherwise it won't work for 64 bit. The command starts with nvflash so you know what post to look for. Sorry I couldn't help more but the forums and my phone don't appear to get along.

I really can't picture the classy fan at 100% being a good thing... that sized fan running at 6,000rpm...? As far as I know no one has found a way to remove/spoof the overcurrent protection, so with normal applications the classified is still stuck at 1.35v without soldering it. 

well, the cooling that you would need to stabalize temps at over 1.35 volts is above water cooling, to my knowledge anyway. these cards are meant for ln2/phaschange/chiller operation anyway (subzero) when going for insane overclocks, and if your going that route your will probly need 1.3 volts or less to stabalize your oc considering Kingpin got to 2000mhz (boost) with just 1.211v...  though no 2 cards are the same..... still however i see evbot as giving you PLENTY of voltage :P

Any reason to get a custom bios for a GTX 680 Classy that's gonna be HC? Only thing I can think of is to remove the 70C throttle and get a little more OV from evbot. Is it worth it or should I just stay on he Default Bios?

I have a GTX560 (non Ti) and I'm looking to make a silent PC.
