nikolatesla Clock table for GTX670s have fun, you will need HxD and NiBiTor 6.06 and your saved stock BIOS file. Watch this video and you can figure out how to mod your own BIOS. Unfortunately that didn't work for me. In order to upload my modified BIOS I have posted my problem at mvktech: EVGA GTX670 FTW Fan Speed Can anybody help me to get a low limit of 20% for the fan?

Thanks for your quick help, I have given you +1 Karma at mvktech for fixing my check sum. Instead of 1000 rpm @ 30% the fan of my GTX 670 can now run as low as 700 rpm @ 20%. I am not overriding the fan control of the BIOS though. This is why my card currently runs with 22% @ 36°C (750 to 780 rpm). In the winter I will most likely hit the 20% limit - perfect!

I'm new to all of this, so excuse my questions. I have a GTX 680 and I would like to know how to unlock the fan speed so I can go to 100% if needed. I like to keep my stuff as cool as possible, so if I choose to overclock my card at all I want to make sure it doesn't get to 45. I know it won't hurt anything but I'm anal about my temps, my CPU idled at 21. Under a load it never gets in the 40s.
I see that Tombi will unlock the fan speed, but how exactly do I get the bios and do I need any other programs?

People usually use the following tools and you will have to google them since EVGA thinks it is a good idea to let users with less than 10 forum posts not post any hyperlinks: - [GPU-Z Test Build] Kepler BIOS saving
- Download NVFlash 5.127 | techPowerUp
- MS-DOS Bootable Flash Drive - Create

It's really easy. You dont need to burn any CD or bootable flash drive. Only download the software "nvflash" and run it during this command on the commandline: nvflash --index 0 --save original.rom Then it will create a new file "original.rom" with your current bios. Send this bios file over PM to me, than I can mod your bios for you.

I will do this when I get home in about an hour and a half, then it you wouldn't mind explaining how to load the modded bios I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for all your help.
I would actually like to get the 690 but the fact that the hot air comes out the front as well as the back instead of the back turns me away. With the way I have my corsair h80 setup it pulls from inside the case instead of from the outside blowing in like they say to put it. So the front hot air would be picked up by my push fan that blows into the radiator and it would push that hot air through.

Please note: I dont know how are the commands for SLI flashing/bios saving, so please use google if you use SLI. Go to Start (Windows Startbutton) -> Run enter "cmd" -> enter. then on the new windows (Commandline) then look on this screenshot - should explain all: in this example i downloaded nvflash to C:\nvflash\ For flash any ROM to the graphic card, use this commandline: nvflash --index 0 --overridesub file.rom file.rom = filename of your bios rom file.

Well I've never made BIOS update under Windows, I've got one DOS USB Drive... so I normally reboot my computer and do it from there... The commands I use: nvflash --save backup0.rom And then it will ask for the first GPU if you want to save that BIOS or skip it for the next GPU... After that if you selected 'Y' ( yes ), it will ask for the second which I skip the card by selecting 'S', because I want to safe it on another file... Then again: nvflash --save backup1.rom This time I'll skip the first card when prompted 'S' and then the second card when prompted I'll select 'Y', and then your two cards have their bioses saved! Now to flash the cards it's the same procedure the only change is the commandline: nvflash -4 -5 -6 mod.rom As easy as this hope you understood Any question feel free to hit me one PM

There is a collection of them here, http://www.overclock.net/t/1289489/gtx-680-670-unlocked-voltage-bios Make sure you do it right because you can brick your card, do it at your own risk. If you have more than one card only do one at a time so you can have a card or a spare laying around to un brick it... 2.1V is nice but I went back to the stock bios bench testing and playing around is fun but I don't need that much power yet, mine will all do 1254MHz on 1.175v which is more than enough. Also if your using air keep an eye on your temps!

I wouldn't use nvflash -4 -5 -6 mod.rom it's force flashing, just use nvflash 680mod.rom it should flash fine. Force flashing might force it to flash when you might not want it to. If it's not a fully compatible bios it might brick, i've done it before a few times, lol Force flashing is more for flashing different brands like msi on to a asus or maybe a 680 bios on to a 670 ect. if normal flashing doesn't work. Bricking a $500-$600 card might screw up your day... Anyhow if all your doing is having your current BIOs tweaked you shouldn't have to force it anyhow. . Guy over at mvktech knew how to tweak the voltage to 2.12, fan speed, power target up to 300 like it was nothing but he isn't around anymore. What we need is a new NiBiTor so anyone can tweak the 600series but that hasn't happened yet. Maybe if someone bribed mvktech.net we would have a new NiBiTor sooner.
