Hi Evga. Haven’t heard much about this card since it was shown at CES 2015. A few sources show a February release. Trying to not only confirm a release time frame but if this thing is even in production and wasn’t just some prototype on display that will never see the light of day. I just sold my car and building a super computer (In sig. Completely built just waiting on GPUs). I was going to get 4x Hydro Coppers but instead I would like to get 4x of these new AIO units to not have to deal with the hassle, maintenance, risk, and loss of resale value on a full water-cooling setup. You guys have truly answered my wish of having the performance of water-cooling without the drawbacks. Do you plan on making this a permanent lineup to all your future GPUs? Doubt you can answer but would be awesome if you did. Thank you.

Going to have to bump this. Looks like the Kingpin card is hogging all the attention by getting its own store page announcement and forum thread. I would assume this card will probably sell more units than kingpin to the average user so I'm surprised there has been any talk about it yet. Thanks.

this is interesting indeed, especially as the AIO is supposed to be sold separately as well. so one can pick it up and use it as cpu cooler with EVGA lightning logo. I find this to be a nice idea.

It's been a week. Give them time, lol.
The K|ngp|n card was news well before CES and they just announced their full release and pre-order. Patience.

Looking forward to this update too. And like to know if it will be different versions of cards or only one. (Ex.stock clock, superclocked..etc)

so will this EVGA AIO work with the EVGA reference 980, which is a separate thing from the hydro copper? (in people's opinion) Or does this require a special 980 card? I found this article (scroll down) but looks like it should work with any reference card. Okay maybe I answered my own question. lol http://www.xtremerigs.net...-ti-psus-z10-keyboard/ From the article: "The real unexpected model was a prototype of a reference 980 with a AIO cooler attached. The idea is you take the reference cooler, replace the core of the cooler with the aio unit and replace the shroud so as to have one with holes for the tubes in it. Presumably this would be compatible with any reference card, but none of the EVGA ACX cooler cards because you need to reuse the reference cooler parts. The cooler is a standard 120mm type AIO which will no doubt give plenty of headroom for cooling given that this is just a reference card with a reference VRM. Most likely you’ll power throttle or run out of volts before running into thermal problems. I’d expect this to be quite popular, though Corsair’s HG10 may give it a run for the money when updated for the 980 given that the HG10 allows any old AIO you may have lying around to be reused. Note that some of the other news sites are claiming this as the new hydrocopper. This is not the case. The hydrocopper will continue to exist as a real water block for now, and will continue to be made by EK."

Thanks Jacob. I'm going to buy 4 of these just because you took the time to respond to my question that I know any other GPU company wouldn't do. You should get a freaking promotion or something with what you do for the EVGA community.

EVGA_JacobF Late Feb.
Any update on this? I saw another post where it the date was pushed to early-March but now we're pushing mid-March. To be honest though I'm not even if I'll even buy now if the Titan X is right around the corner and is decently priced (not keeping my hopes up for that one).

Jacob, any chance this is coming to the Titan X as well? You kept delaying these and then the Titan X came out and got those instead :P I really do want to go the AIO route though I specifically built my case & computer for 4 AIO GPUs. Thanks.

Any knowledge on if there will be a standalone cooler released? I've love to toss this on my 2 980 SC which are unfortunately out of the step up cut off line.

So very tempted to pick up 2 hybrid rather than one titan x do to the Vram stacking in Windows 10 with DX 12. Any thoughts other than micro-shuddering issues and the usual sli profiles taking 2-4 months to come out after a AAA release?

That is why I left room in this case for a 2nd Card, I would rather run 2-Way SLI then One Titan X. Click on Image for Larger View + 2 times Zoom in. I would move the SATA Drive to the bottom of the case and install the 2 Radiator in that location below the SSD Drive.

keep in mind that vRAM stacking has to be programmed by the devs to be used. Overall you should get better performance then a single titan X, even more with the damn AIO cooling going on

4 GB is more than I need, are you saying that the AIO Cooling is BAD? The AIO Cooling has lit a spark under this Forum and I bet put EVGA back on Top of the World. Why to do darn it?
