Hello Friends!. So i built a new pc first time on my own Specs: AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core Processor 4.00 GHz Ram: 8 gb Hyperx 64-bit OS msi 970 Afterburner MB Nvidia EVGA gtx 960 2 gb GPU 700 Corsair PSU Monitor: old hannsg monitor, (i hope this is my issue) i basically upgraded from an old pc to this so i can play this game called H1Z1 but when I get into the game, my fps is somewhere in between 25-35 in PV. PV is the area where alot of people and buildings are for those of you who dont know. i also ran a valley benchmark 1.0 and was averaging somewhere between 15-35 fps nothing past 40 i freshly installed windows 7 Home Premium today with the hopes that it will run faster than my old windows 10 but no luck after fresh install all i did was download newest Nvidia Driver and installed it and used the cd that came with my msi motherboard to install some drivers like KIiller network and some sound drivers. I dont know much about software but i think that items that i bought should run my game better than 25 fps I also tried changing some settings in Nvidia control panel i used this guys video tried switching to power mode in advanced settings in my computer but no luck please help me out with this.

Welcome to the forums! You should definitely be getting higher FPS in Valley than that, but it does depend on the settings and resolution. If you have everything set for ultra with 8X AA, that's going to slow things down. Try running the 3Dmark Fire Strike Basic test. You can download the Basic version from the bottom of the page here. Run that, and then let us know your scores

Yes, you can use msi afterburner to get all the info. Under the msi afterburner hardware monitor graph you'll need to be looking for... GPU1 Temp, GPU1 Core Clock MHz, GPU1 Memory Clock MHz, & CPU Temp. Leave afterburner running in the background while you play the game and report the latest values from each one so we can see what is going on.

Just open the msi afterburner hardware monitor graph and report the current values from each one after running the game for like 10 minutes.

You can view the hardware monitor graph by pressing "DETACH" inside msi afterburner.

If you're still having problems after doing the above steps please tell me all cpu temp values listed in msi afterburner after playing the game for 10 minutes.

Physics score should be around 7900. Combined score should be around 2600.

Load into the motherboard bios and reset bios to default settings. That should fix the problem if your bios settings are all messed up.

If resetting the bios doesn't fix the issue could you please tell me what motherboard you're using? Also recheck your cpu temps using core temp.

Load into the bios, press F6 followed by F10. Everything should be reset now.

hi legendary, looks like sajin has got you covered & he's definitely right -- your processor seems oddly low in the benchmark. for comparison if you wanted a ballpark one: http://www.3dmark.com/fs/6873277if you're still unable to run core temp, you could grab AMD Overdrive to check your processor status. http://www.amd.com/en-us/...gies-gaming/over-drive

Make sure the slow mode dipswitch on your motherboard is in the downward facing position as shown here...
