Well, it looks like the TDR fix made it into the 326.80 beta drivers released yesterday. I just installed them, so I won't know if it worked until late tomorrow (rebooted rig at around 8:15 PT this morning)

They appear to be slower than 320.49. At 1215 MHz on project 8900 I was previously seeing around 2:50 TPF, while it's now oscillating around 3:00, and that's over a couple of WUs, not just the early portion of one WU. It translates into about a 10k PPD loss. I haven't gotten any 7810s or 7811s since the update so I can't say how those fare.

Wow, this is huge. I was planning a second box with three 780s. I'll now wait for the 790. I hope it pans out. A huge thx to you XZ. I have two 780s currently. I hope I can step-up to the 790.

I agree.. I'm seeing about a 10% power drop-off and corresponding PPD hit compared to the 320.49 driver. That was on 7819 and 7811. Changed them back, folding power returned to normal. *edited to clarify which driver

The 36-hour TDR issue did appear to have been fixed, as I came back to my computer around 39 hours after the last reboot and AB hadn't crashed, but I did 4 8900's at about 5.5% PPD loss and 2 7811's at about 9% loss. I've rolled all the way back to 314.22 with the .inf modification.

IE: I could not step up to a 690 or a Titan, but when the 780 came I could.

Well, 314.22 doesn't seem to have been any better. I went back to 320.49 and I'm seeing the TPF I'm used to. Has anyone else seen lower PPD than expected on 314.22?

I'm running three of the 780 supper clocks, one in a mini itx board with a 3570K cpu producing 184,000 PPD and two in a three way sli capable X58 board with a 960 cpu for the slot spacing for air cooling producing 170,000 PPD each. Is anyone else getting different performance with these cards in older boards, I'm still happy with over 500k PPD just running the three cards alone. Just for info, the two PC's total just under 1,000 watts at the wall.
