I bought an EVGA GTX 750 Ti (02G-P4-3759-KB) to replace an EVGA GTX 465 I had been using in my HTPC.  The 465 had a mini hdmi port and I used it for video and audio.  Figured I had some best buy gift cards and I could upgrade to maxwell to reduce heat and power consumption.  The new card has a full size hdmi port, but where it's positioned, I can't plug in any of the HDMI cables I own into it.  Currently it's in a Silverstone FT03 but I have an ML07 on order to replace it.  The FT03 has a slight lip where the expansion cards start, the ML07 doesn't appear to have one so I'm hoping I won't have any issues with it.  Attached are the pics that show the issue, does anyone have any recommended HDMI cables which have slim connectors that may work?  I tried loosening the screws to see if there was enough play to get a cable to plug in, but it's not even close.

I wouldn't have ordered another case, I would have broke out the dremel tool.

+1....just sand that lip down a bit, done! Its not the cards fault, its the way they setup your mobo tray and how your mobo lands on the pci slot covers. Some cases are like that. My Lian-Li has a removeable mobo tray so it can be off sometimes too, but its easily fixed by tweaking the tray a little etc...  That's the benefit of a 300.00 case I guess, if a problem crops up like that its easily fixed.  :P

I had been waiting for the ML07 for 5 months since it was announced at CES, so it had already been planned, I didn't just order it to fix this issue.  Just wondering if anyone else had run into this.  Typically I just throw one of my old cards into my HTPC when I upgrade, so this case has been through a ton of cards, just the first time I'd run into an issue getting a cable plugged into it.  I really liked the mini-HDMI port of the 465, kind of wish they would have used it on the 750 Ti as well.  For now I'll just use the DVI port and analog for sound rather then dremeling off that lip.  I probably should stop buying first run cases before they have time to work out the kinks...

You can use a dvi to hdmi cable for sound output as well if you have this cable available.

Perfect, I'll dig up one of those DVI-HDMI adaptors and give it a go, thanks!
