When we get a BIOS fix for high DPC Latency issue? Its dependent on the clocks and %usage of the card U can check it with DPC Latency Checker

As far as I know, you're the first to have this issue, and if that's true, then I wouldn't count on a special bios update for it. (Considering the fact it's likely an incompatability issue).
Gigabyte Z590 Vision G Mobo, intel i3 10105 CPU, 32GB GSkill Ripjaws DDR4 3200 RAM, EVGA GTX 750ti FTW Video Card, EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2 power supply, Fractal Design Focus G (White) case, Cooler Master Hyper212 RGB Black CPU cooler. 2 Dell LED Monitors (20" & 24"), SK Hynix Gold 1TB SATA SSD (OS Drive), 6 WD HDDs 13TB total (Storage). Rig is a partial update on the old Gigabyte P43/Q6600 OC rig... The WD HDD's, (13TB, total), Blu-ray & DVD burners, GTX750ti FTW & Supernova 850 G2 psu, migrated from old setup... Will get an 11700K, and an RTX 3060 12GB Black card, when I'm ready to OC... Windows 11 Pro set for performance, and it runs at 4.2Ghz... Thrustmaster Ferrari GT Experience Wheel/Pedals, Built for Gaming, Video Production, and Cakewalk, Cubase DAWs...

You also did not list your system specs nor information as to how you determined you have a high DPC Latency issue.

Its a dupe thread http://forums.evga.com/fb.ashx?m=1758484 Given his issues.. He should remove the X-Fi card and run a Driver Fusion pass for Creative drivers -and- disable his onboard sound. Could also be his SSD, he never did state he had done a secure erase... Nor did he ever post his OS/driver install method...

You "Formatted" C.... is this your SSD? Thats probably your issue right there. You did not properly Secure Erase your SSD before re-installing Windows -->SSD's are NOT hard drives and cannot be treated like one.

Is your 2Tb WD hard drive a internal or a USB add-on?

an internal drive i tested with all unpluged, i have test so many things, i have all devices deaktivated in device manager. The problem is only with the GTX 690, with GTX 580 runs all fine. Without driver there is no lantency lag issue, but after isntallation the video driver there are little sound crackle in youtube or other videos and hard sound crackle with games in fullscreen window mode, in Fullscreen mode the sound crackle is not so often but it is annoying.

You really need to go back to square one. You missing something in either the OS install or in the config. " i have all devices deaktivated in device manager" This should NEVER be done. -->Proper testing protocol is one device at a time and test, then re-enable and move to the next. Remove -all- attached devices except for your mouse, keyboard and monitor. No flash drives, headsets, webcams.. nothing else connected. Remove your X-Fi sound card and all other installed cards except for your GTX 690 Secure Erase your SSD *(go to the OCZ site and download the -correct- Secure erase Tool for your make/model/firmware of SSD) Quick format (do NOT full format) your SSD and re-install the OS Do NOT allow Windows Update to install -any- hardware or device driver updates -PERIOD- During this testing keep the internet -disconnected- Install your MB drivers with the disk that came with it, only install the Chipset, LAN, SATA drivers. Do NOT install any monitoring or other "optional" drivers that are on the MB driver disk, and disable MB sound in BIOS and do not install the sound driver. Do NOT install keyboard or mouse drivers, use only the Default drivers that Windows automatically installs. Make -NO- OS settings changes whatsoever from defaults. None. Install 306.23 Nvidia with a CUSTOM/Clean install Leave the NVCP at defaults except to check the correct settings for the monitor (Screen res, refresh rate and bit depth) make no other changes. This will give you a clean OS, MB driver and Videocard install to test with. I suggest latency testing once -before- reconnecting to the internet and doing your Windows Updates. Do NOT allow Windows to update -any- hardware or device drivers PERIOD. This setting can be found in the Windows update "change settings" panel. After you have done your "Critical" and "Security" Updates -and- continued to return to the Windows Update page until no further such updates are available. Then Test again. Add in -any- programs, monitoring software or device/drivers ONE AT A TIME with a reboot after each install, and test. In this manner you will find out what Device, Driver or Program install is causing your issue -or- if SSD controller stress was the cause. Do NOT add in any device, driver or program install, without testing both before and after each one. This is the only way you are going to find "whatever" is causing your problems. Good luck

i always disable windows hardware isntallation, i have already done this all. Only deplug the card and install the gtx 580 solves the problem. Yesterday i pluged in the GTX 690 in my brothers PC and he has the same problem. on Friday i installed win 7 new and i test it with intel chipset driver and nvidia driver no other drivers, and it i got high latency, i deinstalled driver in safe mode clean it with cclleaner and driver sweeper boot again install driver and same problem. Then i deinstalled driver reboot and in software mode my latency is normal like with my GTX 580. Hva ethe GTX 690 the same bug how the GTX 460 has had in the past? The latency bug with the 460 was also resolved never.

You appear to not understand the issues involved, nor proper testing protocol. You do not even know how to properly uninstall a current Nvidia driverset " i deinstalled driver in safe mode" is incorrect and should never be done. -->One can only imagine what other mistakes you are making if you are unaware of how to use current Nvidia drivers properly. A GTX 690 is not a 580 or a 460 or a 590, and none of them have any existing known latency issues. Such issues are 100% user/config based I suggest you contact EVGA for a RMA and have them bench test the card. -->This way you will know if its the card or your config. Good luck

fLaXi0n the Nvidia support say to me should deinstall driver in safe mode with network I fail to see why your having any driver issues at all, its not the Nvidia driver that is causing your problem. Just RMA the card and have them bench test it. -->If the card is defective, you will get a new one If the card tests out ok, you will have to learn how to work the issue and find the cause. *My personal opinion is that its probably some Asus software thats conflicting. Your motherboard has quite a bit of stuff from Virtu to Gpu tweakit to its overclocking/monitoring software that could cause this issue. That or the Creative drivers.... The list of things that could be the cause is quite extensive, you appear to not be aware of many of these. Good luck.

i think the latency is so high because, Nvidias Frame Metering on GTX 690 :) otherwise please make a screen with gpu-z (GTX 690) and DPC Latency Checker and post it. In the other thread from me is a person who has high latency too. In 2 different computers who i tested it, its the same ONLY WHEN GTX 690 is installed. (No issues with GTX 560, GTX 580 and GTX 260). I do not like to let kidding me . I payed 970€ for a mistake from nvidia, where I have to live with????? OMG U have to test it urself, then we can talk again, sorry that I'm so pissed. :( and sorry for my english

dont use dpc latency checker, it has know issue with win7 and dont show latency right (basically show latency incorrect), use Latency monitor its much more accurate and more detailed . dpc checker show much higher latency compared to latmon and most people agree not to use dpc checker on win7 and above. because of the fact it shows the latency with incorrect values.

but when i get high red bars @ the same time the sound crackle stutters 4 or 5 times (bars) and goes back to normal for 2 or 3 seconds. This is when 1 gpu unit is @ low mhz (under 500mhz) and the usage is 80% and then the core speed goes up to over 1050 mhz and and then back to 20% usage. It changes constantly from under 500mhz and 80% load to 1050mhz and 20% load and then the sound is broken crackle and i got many red bars in latency checker. With the GTX 580 i dont have the problem, i got throughout green bars and never over 70 microseconds. With GTX 690 in IDLE 400-800 micro seconds and in load (game or gamemenu) from 1200 - 25000 micro seconds.

306.23 drivers normally are in the 200-500 dpc range a lot people any higher would be deemed questionable if its spiking to like 1k+ there is something wrong with either cards or some driver are conflicting and causing the issue. Run lat mon for like 30 min or so with bunch stuff running A game,Media player running music and maybe browser running too. Also Realtek drivers are know to cause issue with dpc, alot people fix that by using .53 drivers This is with Swtor Running, Winamp Streaming music, and a Firefox open. Note I am also running Hpet 64bit in bios and Hpet enabled in Win7 with Setplatformclock set to true

What I found with my system is if I don't allow throttling of my 690 card i used the following site:" ". Latency is reasonable following these directions, as soon as I let the card throttle the speed it shoots up considerably. So in the end I am thinking it may have to do with the drivers nvidia is putting out.
