you will need a sli patch If you are using a non certified sli motherboard which im guessing because you probably are using a crossfire board. I had to use the patch for my gtx 460 2win for it to show in the nvidia control panel. once you install the patch reboot then you will have the option to use the patch before windows loads. I contacted evga and they seem clueless about this patch that you need

Looks like I am having the same issue only i have the EVGA 780i board.
 
I am trying a clean install of windows now.
 
This is insanely frustrating.

use this patch it should enable it into the nvidia control panel .. instal then reboot before startup you will have the option to use the patch once you use it go to the nvidia control panel and sel sli and physics configuration. maximize 3 d performance. I am using the latest certified driver by nvidia 270.61 but this seemed to work for me....
